Safeway Bakery

My photos don't do it justice! But this location has been my go-to birthday cake stop for my kids. I simply print a photo of a cake or cupcakes I like and bring it in. I add the topping decorations. They've never disappointed and I highly recommend them for that unique special cake...or cupcake.

A business I worked for years ago introduced me to this location, and I have continued to used because of their amazing quality. Although the baked items look and smell amazing when in store, the reason I continue to return is for birthday cakes. Getta is my point person, she is my go too. I have communicated with some of the other staff, but she is the one I have known since. Whether you are looking for a simple cake with decorations or a multi photo laced - slammed with fresh Strawberry filling- topped with almost anything, all the while looking like it came out of a Lamborghini showroom. Amazing turn around times where you thought the back end of the bakery had its own NASCAR track team. Just stop by and look at their cake display, you will swear they looks Fake. Recently, my wife had another bakery at our local Frys food store (great staff) but didn't order from Getta at our trusted Safeway bakery (not sure why). I went to pick up our Twin daughters unicorn birthday cake, when they handed it over, I thought maybe they dropped it. You can see in the photos the amazing difference between the two and only at a $4 difference. I didnt know if it was possible for my Safeway Bakery could make the cake in less than 24 hours. As you can see by the photos, they did. Before you take a chance on a bakery that "may be good", take my over 7 years experience with Getta at Safeway. Their attention to detail is like nothing I have seen (except on those Cake TV shows my wife watches), but who know how long their turn around times are, let alone their number.
