    While I like the location and think that the staff is pleasant, Im tired of going here or any of the other Adelante locations as a transgender person. I continually get misgendered in the patient plans. In Mesa, Samantha E Fullmer and Dustin Durham have misgendered me in the patient plan; Veronica Erivez has misgendered me at the West Adelante location in the patient plan, too. I have legally changed my documents and have transitioned prior to coming to either location (for several years). Every provider besides Matthew Parker, who now has limited availability, has done this. I have filled out paperwork listing my name, my gender, my pronouns, my medications, and the surgeries Ive had and have had Dustin Durham do this on 12-06-2023. Veronica Erivez originally misgendered me on paperwork that was intended be submitted to my job that same week (for the same condition).

    Do not book your appointments here! I came today for my biweekly ob appointment that was booked from my last visit two weeks ago. My partner and I got confirmation in person at the front reception desk that my appointment was scheduled for today. I arrive for my appointment just to be told they do not have an appointment for me. It is not the first time I have "booked" an appointment and arrive day of where they have nothing scheduled for me. Not only were we told to go back and forth through the whole clinic for check in as no one wanted to check us in, but was also told I had nothing scheduled. Not the first time I am "checked in" turning out I was never even checked in and have waited for no reason. At my last ob appointment i was told i needed to get my bloodwork done, had asked when I can and asked for the hours but the provider mentioned the lab seems to have been closing early/ random times. That is a bit unprofessional for a clinic to have set hours yet to be closed. I have requested my medical records from their records department a total of three times to still be waiting for my documents a month and half later. Records were requested at different occasions with enough time given for delivery which is typically 2 weeks. My experience here has not always been the best as communication is terrible between staff members. I have only been coming here for convenience. There is definitely room for improvement here. Will most likely be looking for a different provider soon as my experience coming here has been lacking and nothing but frustrating.

    I've been here before for my first grandchild. Today is for my newborn grandchild, appointment was at 1040am and we all knows what happens when you're late. An hour later and several families have gone before us. I approached Receptionist, who was texting, and asked what was up. She said doctor was running 40 to an hour late. WHY WOULDN'T THEY TELL US?? Some people work!! Horrible service.

    I've never experienced so much pushback from a doctors office before. Adlante will make it their job to waste your time. You will never be seen by the same doctor, even though you requested. I gave them a doctors note to be filled. Called a week later for status, they said they never received it, so I gave it to them a 2nd time and two weeks later I call back for status, said that it was done, come to pick it up and it was written WRONG. At that point I just gave up. Then when I asked to get my RX filled my pharmacy sent the request 3 times and Adlante took it after the 4th time even though I had more refills on the perception. I absolutely hate this place. No one calls you for any status updates. 45 mins you will be waiting in queue to get a hold of anyone, and when you do, they have no idea what's going on. You will never be able to talk to your provider. Save your sanity and time. Do not come here.

    I have never had such a terrible experience with a doctor. My husband and I just moved here and needed a new doctor. We both had new patient exams a few months ago. I never met the doctor, they just had me meet with a nurse who was very rude, I couldnt understand her through her thick accent, and she insisted I had depression when I told her Ive been fatigued lately. Thats literally all I said, and she already had a diagnosis. I do not have depression by the way. She was constantly interrupting me and not listening. Then both my husband and I got bloodwork done. I never got a call back with results. My husband got a call from the receptionist who told him he had prediabetes. The doctor didnt even call him, they didnt schedule a follow-up appointment, they wont post his blood results on their portal, and hes a very healthy person who doesnt have a single reason to be prediabetic according to the CDCs list of causes, which concerns me because it may be something very serious. We also asked for a referral for genetic counseling since I have a history of cystic fibrosis in my family, and we want to have kids, and they referred us to the wrong place. Ive tried calling on several occasions with my questions and concerns, and Ive tried sitting on hold only to give up after being on hold for 3 hours. Ive left a call back number on 3 occasions and never gotten a call back. We made our initial appointments online, but Ive never once been able to actually get ahold of anyone, receptionist, nurse, doctor, etc. Theyve left me with no other options than to just go find a new doctor. Edit: Adelante sent me a bill (you know, for the doctors visit that never happened). They did not take my insurance like they said they did. So instead of a $30 copay, it was around $70. I figured, whatever, Ill just pay the bill because I really just want to forget about this place. But the bill only had 3 payment options: 1. To call them even though they dont answer their phones. 2. Pay through the portal that you can only set up by calling them. 3. Send your credit card information through the mail. I guess I only have one option which is incredibly insecure. I have never paid a bill through the mail, but theyve given me no other option. So I paid the bill through the mail with a new credit card. Then today, not even a week later, my credit card information has been stolen and they made a charge for nearly $800 to the Caribbean. So now Im dealing with fraud.
