This guy Steve Reid will convince you that he is hands on, will be dependable, and builds the highest quality pools in Lake Havasu. He is the biggest flake we have ever dealt with! If we could give him negative 5 stars we would. He takes your money, makes promises he doesn't keep, and has the attitude of like he is doing you a big favor if and when he actually shows up! He builds a very poor quality pool not paying attention to the small details, let alone the big ones. He hardly ever showed up to supervise his workers, who were " just learning", which caused poor quality, time and time again. Our pool took over 6 months to build, without actually finishing the small details. The plaster is splotchy and an uneven color throughout. The stucco on the back side of pool is different colors. The pool drain strip is lifting in spots, causing tripping hazards. We never received a final "paid in full invoice with warranty info" ( which is supposed to be two years, which probably is not worth the paper it would be printed on since this guy will be out of buisness in no time!) . He promises to fix things, but never does. At one point he tried to overcharge us about $7000.00 for pavers installed. Lucky for us, we kept track with the supply company so we knew he was trying to pull a fast one! Bottom line is Steve Reid and Bay Pools and Spas are dishonest and should not be allowed to possess a contracting license for pools or anything else. I would not trust this guy to build anything!
