The Original Strombolis

Between Great American Pizza and Stromboli's are definitely I think the better Italian restaurant and or pizza places in town..!!!

Parking is tight. They need to work on customer service. I ordered a large 18 inch pepperoni extra pepperoni extra cheese. I got a half pepperoni half sausage thin crust little to no sauce. I have had their pizza before and it was the best. This one not so good. When I called in after driving back home ten miles away, the lady said I had to return the pizza. I said Im not wasting my gas to do 40 miles for pizza. Next time Im going to all American in Golden valley.

The 3 topping stromboli was solid, but nothing like pictured visually and certainly needed more fillings and less dough. An average bite was 3/4 dough, 1/4 toppings. Baked Mostaccioli was delicious. Garlic Bread was good, but drenched in butter, garlic, and cheese. Wait was 20 mins longer than estimated via Slice. (I get it restaurants get busy) We waited till near the end of the time frame specified and still sat in their waiting area for 20 minutes waiting for our carryout food. Great taste overall but could certainly be a better experience, will be back again. Parking: More-or-less hidden behind the building.

Nothing like a 9 hour roadtrip to pull in and order dinner and have the pizza not show up. Ended up canceling after waiting 90 minutes and eating chips from the hotel lobby. Get it together Strombolis or at least warn people if the wait is long (oh and its a Monday night so not exactly a bustling day of the week). Highly recommend if youre on a diet and dont want any actual food.

We tried the Stromboli here, and it did not disappoint! Everything tasted fresh, including the marinara dipping sauce! Quaint. Reasonably priced. Delicious.
