My wife died January 15 and it took them 18 days to bury her. There were no services, no lengthy preparations of the corps, and no embalming. Simple. Also, I asked that notification be placed in two sources in the town we came from and neither were notified. I don't know even if there was a notice of my wife's passing in the local Kingman obituaries. In my opinion Mohave Memorial gave me very poor service and little communication.

We had to call Mohave Mortuary at the absolute worst time of our lives when our daughter passed away. They took the upmost care of transporting her back to Kingman from Phoenix, kept in close communication, comforted us, and fulfilled our wishes with her cremation. I couldnt have asked for a better experience in such a difficult time. Thank you.

I have been trying not to post a review but if I can save one person the heartache this place has caused me it will be worth it. My mother passed away on Nov. 17th. I live in Indiana and was on my way back to Kingman when I received the call she was gone. I wanted to make sure I could atleast see my mom while I was there but that was not possible. We were not sure where they had taken my mother as no one asked my brother at the time of her passing where to take her. We found out after calling the bullhead location that she was at this "company's location." I call them Friday and spoke to someone who stated the director would call me right back. We waited over an hour and nothing. We went to the location and lets just say I was shocked to see a pole barn as I was so used to Sutton Memorial as all our family members had gone there. A person stated that they would be right with us, we waiting 30 or so minutes. She came over and asked how she could help and I stated my mother was brought in yesterday. She said my mothers name loudly and someone (I never seen this person) yelled that she wasn't able to get in touch with the family yet. My husband stated we were there. I was flying back to Indiana on Sunday early and had to get everything taken care of in such a short time. They would not give me costs, would not let me see my mother, they stated it would take them 3 days to get her ready for viewing. The reason they could not tell me anything because they were in training. I left there with no answers no closure and dealt with individuals who honestly had the compasion of a tick. They said they would be in touch on Monday first thing so I waiting. I called late afternoon and spoke to a gentleman who offered to take my name and number. The director called me shortly after that. Told me the cost and so on. I had no heard anything else after I paid the bill but had been told they would keep me posted regarding everything. On December 2nd I sent an email as when I called I just was on hold for over 30 minutes. I asked about my mother and was told on December 5th that they should be receiving her cremations back as she was cremated on Wednesday. I was a little confused as I was told they would be crematin her there. I asked why she was moved and was told the crematorium was down and they had to send her off to be cremated, yet I was unable to see her but it was ok to have her transported without my knowledge or my brothers. At this point it is December 16th and I still have not heard anything back from them. They were supposed to send death certificates and ashes to my location in Indiana and the rest of the ashes and death certificates to my brother there in Kingman. I also at this point do not have any reason to believe that those ashes I will be getting are in fact my mothers. This place is not somewhere I would send a loved one. Please spend a little extra and when I say little it was very little of a difference for Sutton to handle this. I don't know why my mom was taken there but I will do everything I can to ensure that another family member does not have to deal with the heartache I have had to with dealing with such an horrible place during such a difficult time.
