I didn't give Holly all the names with River Valley , but to let you know that all the employees of River Valley, we had nothing but a very good experiences with River Valley and they showed only caring and loving attitudes, very helpful. I appreciate all the help I got for my husband. Love them all!!!

River Valley Home Health and Hospice, especially Bridget the RN and Kari the Chaplin were a pure Blessing. Professional as well as compassionate, they not only saw to it that my loved one was comfortable and calm, and not in pain, they informed her of what was happening in the most compassionate and caring manor so that she would not be frightened unnecessarily. They also supported me as well, I would have way to many regrets and lost moments and a lot fewer good memories of my loved ones crossing over. I will forever be indebted to them. I remember the feeling of what now, when it came time to settle my loved ones estate. Wondering if I'm going to leave to many lose ends. Kathy from the Aftercare program was able to guide me through the process seamlessly. I am and will always be forever grateful to them for their help and kindness.

Everyone was very helpful and responsive. My mother's nurse really helped her understand how certain medications would help. Like her nebulizer, which she resisted using, until it was better explained and I think it did really help for the short time she used it. Whereas she'd been prescribed it a year prior and refused. She'd been eligible for hospice care more than a year, when we started it. And I wish we'd have done so earlier. I think it would have improved the quality of her life and probably would have extended it as well. Really. I can't say enough how grateful I am for the care we received. Thank you.

I just wanted to share a little regarding healing after losing a loved one from Alzheimer's. First of all God should never be blamed for any death. Death in it's many forms is part of our life. Diseases are also part of life. Funerals are not for the dead , but for the living that they may have closure from losing a loved one. Losing my wife was the hardest storm in my life. All during the suffering of both of us; her's being the the disease and mine watching and caring for her through the end, never once did I ask God why. I trust in the Lord for His wisdom and His love. It was because of his love for us and my love for my wife that I could weather this storm in life. He has released me from the mourning and has given me peace for I know with whom she resides now. Healing does follow the lost of a loved one. Some people heals sooner, some later, and some live in a state of hate and denial. They can choose to stay there or to allow healing to take place. I will share this poem I wrote several months following losing my wife. Never Alone Suffering does end By Austin Mayberry 6/2022 Through years of suffering, she had fought her best To stay with me and love me until God called her to rest. Through Gods Grace and love, the emotional pain I could bare, And He gave me the strength I needed for her I could care. The long suffering endured by both she and I, Never once could I ask God, why? Did she lose faith or Love for the Lord? No never! This was the one storm, the final storm she would weather. Now she is with Him in heaven above, And I missed the one God sent me to love. She is gone now and enjoying her rest. The storm clouds have parted, I had done my best. Gods mercy rests upon me and mourning has ceased, Through his word I have peace, the pain He has released. Whatever path I travel I know I am one of Gods own. Be there another love? Unknown. But with God, I know, I am never alone. I wish God's peace, comfort, and ever present joy, to all those who have suffered past, present, and future.

Never Alone
Suffering does end

Through years of suffering, she had fought her best
To stay with me and love me until God called her to rest.
Through Gods Grace and love, the emotional pain I could bare,

The long suffering endured by both she and I,
Never once could I ask God, why?
Did she lose faith or Love for the Lord? No never!

Now she is with Him in heaven above,
