        Miller peak wilderness is located in the heart of the Huachuca mountains near Sierra Vista in Cochise County arizona. This is a beautiful wilderness area with streams forests hiking trails all located within the Coronado National Forest.

        Hiked Miller Peak from the upper trailhead parking on Miller Canyon Road. It's an all day hike with about 4000' of cumulative elevation gain, so come prepared. The access road is dirt, but I didn't have any issues getting to the trailhead in my little car. There is excellent trail signage all over Miller Peak (but not bathrooms or water at the trailhead). I think this peak is tied with Harquahala for Most Expansive View in southern AZ

        Trailways great the Crest Trail up to Miller Peak finally made the summit to the peak. There was more snow than expected. It's definitely a leg burner 6400 to 9100 feet in elevation in 5 miles. The views from the top world worth the pain. Got to see and interact with about a dozen thru-hikers on the Arizona Trail so awesome.
