Very goot customer service, excellent facility and bilingual English/Spanish attention, only improvement is: the timing for eyeglass turnaround, it seems still to long for todays life stile (10 b.days)...If I may recommend -with best intention- it would be good a review of the processing flow on your prescriptions so you may find opportunities for reduce turnaround time at least by half on first following year.

When I called Barnet Dulaney Perkins to make an appointment, I requested Dr. Diaz, I was told that was not allowed because I had to book an appointment first with a Medical Optometrist before I could see an ophthalmologist. That was the first red flag, I should have hung up. I stupidly made the appointment and went to the appointment at which time after checking in I had to fill out a multitude of forms. I have never had to fill out so much info and medical information for an eye exam in my life which was the 2nd red flag, I should have left. My exam was performed by a tech then the last 90 seconds of my exam the optometrist came in, looked at my results, said a couple of words and left. Nothing was explained. When I checked out to get my prescription I had to pay $52. Then they submitted my info to Medicare and my coinsurance. I later learned they charged my insurance $375 for this appointment an amount that I think is outrageous. Then I received the final bill and I had another small balance that I had to pay. Why is an eye appointment $450? Why do they charge the customer an additional $72, arent they making enough money? I would not go back there and I am mad at myself for ignoring the two red flags. I would give an "F" to the medical optometrist (Hartzell) Update: I went to Vista the following year and had a great experience. Don't waste your time or money at this place. Update: they were hacked and now all medical information is in hackers hands
