For a small local newspaper, I find it to be excellent. They take a lot of criticism for things like political cartoons (which are syndicated) or the rare editorial but thats from people who only want to see things from their own perspective. People complained about the amount of Covid-19 coverage the newspaper was sharing. I know some of those people, most of whom are Covid-19 deniers and anti-vaxxers. The reporting is what it should be: relaying the news without bias. Thats pitch perfect as far as Im concerned. This newspaper strikes the right cord for a community this size. The office staff is excellent, too, and always helpful. Its important to support local journalism. I wish more people understood that.
