    I am extremely afraid of dentists but I finally found the right one! Sahuarita modern dentistry was very professional and very friendly even with my delicate teeth. I would recommend this dentist to anyone! Great experience and I'll definitely be going back.

    Don't! ...Just Don't Go Feb 2024 Update - So I made a mistake and went back to this place after having a sensitive tooth. Here is my experience: They did a couple of x-rays and then told me I needed to have a tooth extracted and an implant/bridge made. The implant would have cost me over $14,000 (after we purchased their insurance package) and said they could get me in the following week for the extraction!! I decided to get a 2nd opinion (wise decision in retrospect) at another local dentist. He used their x-rays and took one of his own and determined that I had a small infection in the gum at the site of pain. He prescribed a antibiotic mouthwash and cleaning regimen. He also mentioned that I needed to get my teeth cleaned and when I told him I just had that done at SMD in December he was shocked. Fast forward 1.5 weeks - no pain, no extraction, no implant and $14,000 still in my pocket!!! First the good...I broke a tooth and they got me in fast. Now all the bad...with the broken tooth they couldn't get the blood pressure cuffs to work (tried 2). Then they couldn't get the imaging wand to work to build the new crown and ended up with a poor fitting piece. After getting the new crown in place I thought all was good and paid my fees. Sadly it just got worse, after I couldn't chew or cool drink water for 2 weeks so back in I go, again same story with blood pressure cuffs (3 times - BP was 240, 240 and 0). They sell me high fluoride toothpaste and I was told to use that for a couple of months. Fast forward 3 months and tooth is so bad I go back in...this time I am in the chair for less than 3 mins and Dr Dindall (sp) says I need a root canal and he can't do one. What they didn't tell me is that they charged me for a full office visit for that sage advice. Off to the endodontist for root canal who looks a cap and says the problem is that they didn't make/install the cap correctly and now I need the root canal - (southern AZ Endodontics was great). He does his work and puts in a temporary filling. Back to Sahuarita, I make an appointment and after sitting in the chair for almost 45 mins a lady comes in and says the dentist is running another 1.5 hrs late (I still work and can't just sit in a chair all afternoon) so I reschedule. They screw up the rescheduling and I have 2 appts on 2 different days...return calls go to an answering service. No resolution there but charged for another office visit. Filling is finally in and I'm awaiting yet another charge for an office visit... To top it off, the ladies at the front desk are very loud and seem to really enjoy their time there laughing and playing with their phones. All in all, really expensive, poor service and just not worth the pain and frustration... P.S. this is just my opinion but sure seems like a theme when you read the other posts...

    I figured my review is just a drop in the bucket, but after seeing other people express their frustration with the same issue I feel like I need to voice my complaints as well. Their scheduling system seems to be extremely flawed. For every appointment Ive had here it has needed to be rescheduled. While annoying, it has not been too significant because I have received calls asking to switch the appointment day/time and weve made it work. However for my most recent appointment I showed up after confirming my date and time via email to find that they had apparently moved my appointment to the following day without any attempt to notify me. Like I said, I had an email which I showed to the front desk showing my appointment day and time. I have just become fed up with having to be bounced around. Second, I have only seen the dentist for my first appointment here. Every other time I have been informed that the dentist is running too far behind and I could either choose to leave, or wait a significant amount of time to be seen. With their inconvenient scheduling practices and dentists that are always running behind (it could be the fact that there are too many patients booked simultaneously for them to keep up), combined with a few other minor issues, have just made my experience here feel like I am just ran through a factory
