My thanks to Dr. Carranza and staff. He saved my foot from a very nasty infection. Some people are born to be doctors and he is one of them. I recommend this facility for anyone suffering from a serious wound.

The folks at this facility are excellent. I always got great treatment and received care according to the scheduled appointments. The nurses were great. I also had Hyperbaric Oxegyn therapy and Terry Werlein was awesome. I am terribly claustrophobic and he coached me thru 30 sessions. I feel like I made some new friends throughout this process. The results were fantastic.

I want to thank the members of this office for being Caring and Very tentative to my medical needs today. Pam and all the staff I was encountered with today were helpful, concerned and caring for my needs. Happy to be a patient in this office and feel confident my healing plan is in good hands.

I have found Terry very professional and safety was top priority. The consultation meeting was very helpful, explaining and answering all questions. I found the time flying by with the caring staff. I would highly recommend this facility. Katherine Rolene Baker

Pam, NP did great job of the treatment prescribed but I will never step foot in the this Wound Care facility again for one, front end staff is rude and screens your calls to not answer them (I confirmed this when they didn't answer to my regular phone number on several attempts to reach billing,, but as soon I called from a different number they answered and I could tell they were surprised to find me on the other end). Two, over charged me the co pay for the Primary Dr which is not a specialist per insurance statements and then when treatment is about over they send you another 50.00 per visit copay bill for the "hospital" which the clinic is licensed under the hospital but is an independent clinic where I was just getting wound maintenance once a week. This led me to look at the claims filed to discover all but two treatments were billed as hospital out patient surgery which is was not at all. I find an independent wound care facility not affiliated with any hospital in the future. They get to over bill is what it amounts to and collect ER type co pays each visit 50.00. If this is removed again, I will continue to come back and submit another honest and truthful review again. Update, the appeal to review the charges and correct then was approved and I ultimately recieved a check from Abrazo billing for 50.00 over payment, BUT then they pull a fast one and try to bill me directly for the NP co-pay of 15.00 who when they already billed under the Primary Dr for which I paid per my insurance co claims statement. They are in network with my insurance which means they accept what the insurance allows. This outfit is something else you better keep an eye on your bills if you go there. P.S. 6/2023 the response below is not sincere dated a year ago, are you kidding me this is still on going I have called and tried to talk to their billing who says their going to send the bill to collections for lack of payment and the only response I get is they will make a note my call, then I called and spoke with the receptionist at the Abrazo wound clinic and told she will look into it and will call me back never heard back , so in a final effort I call Valley Wound Care because Dr Berman runs Valley Wound and is a contracted Dr for Abrazo wound clinic with NP attending patients in both facilities which are both located in the Abrazo "complex". All I could do was leave a recorded message and when I did get a call back I was told they were an assistant and trying to get more info to direct to the office manager who then never called me back, I thought if I explained I already paid the co-pays for Dr Berman my insurance said I was obligated to pay and no bills for the NP was ever submitted to my insurance nor do I think they can charge for more than one Dr services, surely they would straighten this out. I am left with filing a complaint with my insurance and potentially medicare too for over billing. The wound clinic business seems a bit vicarious in its billing practices. The experience even though the wound care itself was very good, it is a billing nightmare afterwards. I will never step foot in either one of them after this continuous practice of over billing, yes it's not the first time because I actually had gone to Valley Wound Care on a previous occasion and had the same billing problems at that time too and why I didn't go back to them when I went to Abrazo wound clinic only to find to my horror they were affiliated with Dr Berman contracted with his NP's and apparently the same Abrazo billing dept.
