Staggering incompetence. We gifted an old used car to a family member in March 2022. We called Rachel at McKenna's office and asked her to remove the car from our policy around the same time. She said she would as soon as she got to the office. We received a renewal invoice several months later that still had the gifted car on the policy. We called and spoke to Jim McKenna. He relayed a sad story about Rachel and said she was no longer employed by his agency. He further stated that he would immediately take care of removing the vehicle from the policy back to March 2022 and get us a refund for the time we did not own the car. A few weeks later we receive a check from Farmers for $1,200, which seem far too much. We checked the Farmers web site and learned that McKenna had cancelled the insurance on both vehicles AND our homeowners insurance!!! We've been driving around and living in our house without insurance for weeks because of McKenna's incompetence and lack of follow-up. If you have a policy with McKenna, I strongly recommend that you immediately find another office/agent, or another insurance carrier altogether. He has no clue how to operate his agency and his mistakes could cause you thousands of dollars if you find yourself uninsured without your knowledge.
