K. Hovnanian Homes Palermo

My husband and I are officially in our new built home in the new Palermo community. I wanted to take time to leave a review about our great experience. Please consider this site for your new home. Tracy worked with us showed us the home and even let us bug her a few times while working to let us come and see the updates. She texted even on the weekends to answer questions. We were brand new to this and very nervous. Shannon the loan officer was so kind and gave great service. She assured me on the days I was in panic. She took the time even after hours to answer my questions and walk me through the process. Ben the builder was professional efficient and communicative. He called and texted updates sent photos and was very detailed in what he wanted for the home. He walked through the house along with his associate Brandon and marked anything that needed improvement. After putting our earnest monies down they gave updates on a weekly basis and answered all questions. we were just three weeks away from closing and it came pretty quickly. We got into the quick move in home. The credits they gave were in our realtors opinion extremely competitive. It not only covered all closing costs, but we were able to buy the rate down. On the day of closing we did a walk through and the only issues were minor. There was paint that needed touch up from people working in the house, a mirror with a scratch and drywalling in the corners of the showers. We got our keys days later! We went with the Passion Flower layout my only thing I didn't like was the master shower doors seemed short and I think the guest shower looks much better. The walls are painted extremely white which will bring issues with touching and finger prints. Other than that we have been in the home a week and the only thing we are waiting for is our floating shelves to be installed they did give us temporary ones until they arrived. There is construction going on but through out the day I have not heard any annoying sounds. Thanks KHOV and PALERMO =)
