You don't get cash back for everything like the ad says. I turned in some old flip phones and didn't get anything back for them and it didn't take my broken tablet. Kept getting an error saying there was more then one device in the tray.

The charging cord in the machine was bad. Went through the whole process then a new cord was there. Also the label printing device was off, so the machine could not read the label. Wasted a good 25 minutes of time just trying to get the machine to work.

I wanted to review this neat kiosk because it does exactly what it says. No catch. Previously, I used the Eco ATM at Arizona Mills mall. The process is quick, with a secure feeling. Toward the end of the process but before the money is vended, "Eco"ask for my state ID card. Eco did explain that he doesn't accept paper-like IDs' (e.g. passports). Photo ID presented has to be the hard-card state or other government issued photo ID. My phone information was matched against police reports "Eco" provided a quick disclaimer for me to acknowledge and attest that this was indeed my phone to recycle. After 15 mins, I walked off with $80.00 in turn for my gently used S7. Not bad. I think it's the best thing since bottle return machines. *Some older devices won't be accepted for cash but, "Eco"will explain and offer to securely dispose of them if you'd like.
