HonorHealth Urgent Care - Gilbert - Gilbert Road

Came in to be seen for an injury. The office was desolate. A lady stepped out form the back and informed me she was on lunch and I could leave my insurance card but that she wouldn't register me until she got back 20 minutes later. I don't mind people having lunch but the clinic should either close for lunch or have someone else available to help people. I left and went elsewhere.

I just got back from seeing them after a spider bite. The NP Thomas and the medical Assistant (Im so sorry I forgot her name, she was really nice and communicated my issue to Thomas really well m, and brought my jacket back to me after I left it in back) and Thomas was super friendly and quick to see me. The front staff werent exactly warm, and ignored me when they were having trouble with my insurance and I tried to say something to help clear it up, but they werent exactly rude and were able to sort out the issue and get me seen super fast and I am grateful :) The way the front desk acts would probably make it so I dont come back unless its absolutely necessary but the medical staff is good at what they and friendly while doing it

Requires wearing mask in both lobby and in exam room, saw one potential customer leave. Definitely not very honorable of Honor Health to require that in 2024.

Went in for flu symptoms and was done within 30-40 min with 4 people in front of me. As a bedside nurse who switched to work for an HH hospital I'm glad I chose HH for my own healthcare as well.

Horrible treatment. After correcting the woman at the front desk who checked me in that I had no co-pay, and after asking her to check again, she refused to talk to me. Not one more word was spoken. I needed to use the restroom. The entire room was taped off for drug testing and I was not able to wash my hands in teh room. That was awkward. Once in the room, there was zero respect for patient privacy. First I had to make sure the door was closed, as they left it wide open. Later, the doctor stood in the doorway and yelled at me from across the room about this co-pay, with the door wide open. I only know that sh was the doctor because she asked, "DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?" to which I repliaed "no". She yelled "I AM THE DOCTOR" and informed me that she would deny treatment if I did not pay the co-pay "RIGHT NOW!". I asked that I be allowed to pay on my way out, as my treatment (cleaning a wound) was already in progress. Undeniable "no". Fine. I left. I went to another urgent care, where, when I pointed out that I should have no co-pay, the front desk person checked again and discoverd that I was correct. This is the second time I was at this particular urgent care, the first time being a year earlier when I injured my back. They told me that they do not "do" pain cases. I suspect that they actually just did not "do" anything so close to closing. I arrived aproximately 30 minutes before closing. This place is awful.
