Citrus Solar

Wonderful experience! We had gotten a few different quotes and Citrus wasn't the cheapest but they were far from the most expensive. There was no sales pitch or pushy tactics (unlike some other we spoke to). The install was great, very professional and knowledgeable, passed all inspections the first time. If I had to find a complaint I would find it on APS and not with Citrus lol.

When I contacted Citrus Solar, I had already signed an agreement with another company but was starting to think I was being over charged. Citrus was the only company that would give me an estimate based on the other company's proposal. Most didn't want to deal with it or insisted on a site visit first. It turns out, the Citrus proposal was about $5k less than the contract I had already signed. I was able to take the Citrus proposal back to my original company and ask why they were charging so much more. It turns out, they were able to match the Citrus proposal *plus* the cancellation fee I would have had to pay to get out of the agreement and and go with Citrus. In other words, their revised offer was still $1.6k higher than Citrus. The moral of the story is to do your price comparisons *before* you sign any agreements. If you don't have the time to get multiple bids, I would definitely go with Citrus first; they were significantly less expensive! Thanks, Tim, you really did me a solid!

Very responsive, prompt, and professional. Worked very hard to get the job done as expeditiously as possible and I thought the price was very competitive. End job is neat and professional looking. They even painted the conduit on the roof to closely match the roof color so it would not be so conspicuous as it is on other houses in the neighborhood that have added solar. Highly recommended!
