Marion did my wedding on 3/4/2022. When I saw saw my photos I was absolutely floored! Im an truly impressed and so are my family and friends . She went above and beyond my expectations. She captured the most beautiful photos of the happiest day of our lives . Giving us the most precious memories for life . If I have another event I would use her again . I highly recommend Marion Rhoades Photography for any type of event !

Marion photographed my wedding November 2021 and was AMAZING! She took photos at another event for my family last year, and I was recommended by my aunt to reach out after my original photographer cancelled.. Marion was professional, quick to respond and had great communication. We chatted before the wedding, she took charge and kept us on time during my wedding night, and after when I was eager to see my photos. I would highly recommend Marion for any photography needs. The timeline on returning my photos to me was prompt and sooner than expected! I also love that the galleries online are availble to download, purchase, and are password protected when shared. Such a cool feature! Thank you Marion, for everything!! We will be in touch in the future.

Marion is a top-not professional in every sense of the word! The amazing photo session we did in April sky-rocketed my confidence to truly press forward with my business! This has helped me with my web site design, social media presence, marketing copy, writing eBooks and Podcast cover designs! She was professional, funny and so easy to take cues from with her calming approach. I look forward to working with her again the later part of this year when I will need a new photoshoot for the launch of my published book!

Marion Rhoades Photography has given me so many terrific photos from one sitting! Marion is lovely to work with and her skills are evident both in personal shots as well as for products. She is talented and I highly recommend her services . As for value, she gives so much variety in one shoot for a very fair price. I got so many usable photos, the headshot here is hers. I want to start with this- Marion as a person, is nothing short of wonderful. I am in no means writing this as an attack. She was prompt, fun to work with, wrangled my family together in a heartbeat, and very good at easing nerves. I honestly did love working with HER, I am only dissatisfied with my photos, and explaining the experience I had with Marion Rhoades Photography for my wedding. I hired Marion about 11 months before my event in November. Once she was hired, communication was good until I emailed asking her when we could set up our engagement shoot. No answer. Since we were getting married in a technical destination point, it was important to us to send out save the dates asap, and due to the lack of response, we had to hire a different photographer for our engagement. I was peeved, but she was very very nice about explaining a missing communication and we found faults on both ends, and agreed to just add the hour onto our wedding day. Moving closer to our event, we had hiccups and our event moved locations and time of day. I will admit, she did give me a chance to cancel my contract and go with a different photographer, but with 6 months to go, I was a little worried and decided to keep with her because she previously knew what my expectations were. We were now getting married at a historic hotel in Tucson, and I let her know how important it was to me for her to find the little hidden gems around the property, because the beauty of the place is the main reason I chose it. She let me know she would be happy to visit the property and scope it out. That never happened. She said she would just arrive early on the day and ask our coordinator to show her around a bit. Honestly- I am not sure if this happened, because on your wedding day, are you really thinking about where everyone is at any given moment? SO this brings me to the brass tax of it. Do I have wedding photos? Yes. Am I thankful? Yes. Do I love them? Meh. One thing I will warn any bride - is honestly make sure this style of photography fits your style. Yes her prices are fantastic, and if you are having an outdoor day wedding, I do honestly feel that this will work for you. I was very happy with all of my outdoor shots, but my indoor shots are tear inducingly sad. The overall the lack of composition on some of the key locations were not at all what I expected.I do understand that it is a wedding, and that us as a couple should be the main focus, but I did let her know about main locations that I wanted ( as in the gates, as well as the library on the property ) that she did not take in to account to zoom out to allow the beauty of the surroundings come through. My indoor shots have, in my opinion, a very harsh flash on them, and there were no pictures that let the beauty of the low light and uplighting of my ballroom shine through. I do also understand time crunches and different lighting conditions. But I did have full trust in her to just take a few extra moments to either add a filter to make the flash a bit more natural looking, or dial it down a bit. Her provided explanation was that she did not know how important those surroundings were to me, which is a bit of a let down- because as you are going through your wedding day and youre not seeing the photos that your photographer is taking as they are being taken, neither do you. Who wants to be a type a control freak on their day? A lot of trust was put into Marion, as these are moments that you will never get to recreate, and I am let down. In the end- while her price was fantastic, I have huge regrets over not spending a bit more and hiring someone else. I did wait to write this review and let her previously know about my dissatisfaction. She offered to do some re-edits and some prints, but so far I have not heard back from her in a little over a week.
