Brian was terrific to work with. He was always available, regardless of time of day, to answer any questions we had and we had a lot. He was very patient with us and made a confusing situation understandable. He even worked over the weekend when we hit a snag which allowed us to close on time. If we ever need financing again, Brian will be our first call.

I wish I could give 12 Stars because Shield's Family Home Loans, my husband and I are on our way to go pick up the keys right now as I am posting this reviewoans went over and beyond what was expected from any organization to do what they did to help us close on our home! Brian and his team worked night and day to help us to close and he did it yay anybody that needs a home need to contact Brian Shields Family Loans! My husband had some arrears child support issues but Brian and his partner Kris, helped pull us through those could have been pitfalls if it had not been for them! Anybody that is a "Veteran", I say you stand more than a fair chance with Brian's Team! Additionally, The Shields Family Home Loan Agency showed a lot of Determination, Concern, Compassion, and good old fashioned community effort to assist us with getting the house of our dreams!! My husband and I could not be more grateful for Samantha and the Brian Shields Mortgage team. As first-time home buyers, Samantha immediately put me at ease. She gladly and enthusiastically answered my many questions, walked me through each step of the process, and was very transparent with me about what we could afford. We started the search with only one full-time income and Sam was the only broker who would even consider setting us up with a pre-approval. She went the extra mile to work with the numbers and put a pre-approval together that was doable in a fairly competitive market. When we became a two-income household, Sam was happy to put together another pre-approval as well as our offer when it was time. The turnaround time was incredibly fast for every request! Once our offer was accepted, Sam helped us move along quickly but took the time and care to outline all of the pieces (there are a lot!) and made sure we were comfortable with each document we were signing during closing. And thanks to her and our realtor, Tyler Rise, WE CLOSED ONE WEEK EARLY! Just before the holidays. Thanks to her, my family and I were able to move into our new home just in time for Christmas. We are eternally grateful for Sam and will definitely work with her again!
