Since I seen an ad for a machinist I figured I have 5 minutes to let it be known that little man with the hair doesn't know a thing about machining. Who is that you might ask? Your boss if you work there. I got hired on, first day I start the man that hired me was fired and the owner (little man with the hair) decided to run the show. First off I had to run a machine that was beat up, missing tail stocks (needed for the parts they make there), rust, no chip conveyor (lmao lathe doesn't turn chips like a mill one of them said to me), and programs that aren't proven. When you take the time to prove it and make sure it runs right with tool clearance etc. they hit you with the program is already there or the last guy that ran it did fine (why is he fired or not here then?). If you need to change out the chuck you have to get in the tiny space in the machine, remove it without dropping it (its about 75lbs) and no hoist system in sight, say good bye to your back. The on board memory for programs on the machine itself has 8,000+ of old programs, some of which was edit prior by their weekend contract workers with 0 warnings or a turn over note. A few times I come back in on a Monday and my set ups are torn down, so you have to re do the set ups and hope they don't label you slow or incapable. They wanted to machine and hold tolerances that the machine isn't capable of, if you suggest calibrating or getting a new machine, just pack up and leave the place. Air conditioned shop sure but it doesn't help, there aren't insulation in the building (other then the little offices for their engineer). The people there are great just not the little man with the hair, he sent his better half to do the firing as well lol. I didn't want to argue with the lady when she said i wasn't capable of doing the work they have there. If the man side of her half doesn't have a clue why would I waste another second of breathe with his wife. I couldn't give them negative stars or a 0 so I guess a 1 will do.

Very poor customer service! I tried for 3 weeks to get a return phone call about a project I wanted them to work on for me. I finally drove by there location to try and talk to someone and was introduced to a salesman he seemed ready to except the job I just needed to complete some more details. I completed those details in about a month and called the salesman back was given his voicemail let him know that I was ready to proceed. He did not return my call for two days, I called again and was given his voicemail I told him politely that this project was time sensitive and I needed to know if they could do the project for me please return my phone call. Their first return call to me was the salesman irritated that I sounded urgent in the voicemail I left him and he proceeded to tell me that they were not interested in my project . Never had a business treat a customer like this before and I can assure you I was not belligerent or rude on my message. They don’t seem very interested in making money or returning potential customer calls.
