Wanted to leave a review of our experience with Dr. Love.
We used them for roughly 6 months.
First I wanted to say, really nice crew. Seems like kind people.
But it would seem that Dr. Love took on more work than they could handle. We found out at the 6 month mark that they were overextended, and would likely be selling off our route. Our experience with them was very subpar, considering they were the more expensive option when we got quotes. We had initially chosen them, even being more expensive, because of the billing and communication that was promised.
Some of the issues:
Communication - There we roughly a dozen occurrences when they said they would be at our property via the email notification process on our scheduled Thursday maintenance, only for them to not show up at all, with no contact, until the next monday. Often leading to a few embarrassments at the state of our property for weekend events. On the email they send, they state you can email with any questions. But I have never had them reply to those emails. I am not sure if their office is truly staffed or not. Even when trying to remedy items, sent them an email with a long list of issues, never heard back. And when finally notifying them we would no longer utilize them, left 3 voicemails and an email. Never heard from them. Still got the notification they were coming, but then did not end up coming after all. Very poor communication.
Lawn care - We later found out in our work with them that they were overextended and were going to be selling our route. Well, that showed in quality in the months preceding. Marcus told me a good number of things would be done, such as trimming up certain shrubs to stumps for winter, but that never happened. The crew would show up bi-weekly, mow, trim and leaf blow and then leave. My bushes, shrubbery, etc were untouched for a long time. They seemed rushed and the quality did not live up to their promise.
Irrigation repair - Notified them of broken sprinklers, took them 3-4 months to fix. Granted they did so for free because of the delay, but was frustrating.
Tree Removal - had spoken to Marcus when he was out laying seed for winter grass about removing a small invasive tree. 2 months had passed and it did not happen.
Again, when they were here.. very kind, respectful. But the lack of communication, the obvious overextending of their business, and the lack of accountability when things needed done made this very frustrating. And of course, the bill wasnt prorated for lack of service and lower quality. Services: Yard work, Irrigation system repair & maintenance, Grass seeding, Lawn mowing & maintenance

They were doing a good job, although expensive based on our very small yard, until they stopped showing up at the beginning of January. I called a few times only to be met with a full voicemail and I emailed twice--no response. I am not sure what is wrong, but their lack of response over a month makes me forced to look for a new service. Also, a small note. We had a severe sprinkler leak in two sprinkler heads that was ruining the lawn in spots--they never brought anything to our attention but mowed over totally soaked and damaged grass. I got another company to fix my sprinklers. According to Dr. Love's website they fix sprinklers. We were confused as to why they never mentioned the problem to us. Service: Lawn mowing & maintenance

All I can say when the gentlemen finished cleaning the "jungle" was OMG. I must have said it a dozen times. Dr. Love's Lawn Care exceeded my expectations. And, I am NOT an easy person to please. Look no further. Dr. Love's Lawn Care is the only choice! Thank you gentlemen and God Bless! Service: Yard work
