        My father was only on hospice for 5 days but he was able to be at home with his dog and family at his bedside. Hospice set up his hospital bed right in his favorite room, the living room. They were very good at anticipating our needs, explaining things and providing us the medication and supplies to keep him comfortable. When he took a turn for the worse, the nurse Kris came out at night and spent over an hour with us getting him comfortable.
