Dont buy a house here unless you like harassment while the neighborhood likes like trash! they try to hold everyone accountable but themselves! Stay away unless you like dysfunction in your HOA or have a lawyer.

Four drivers in our home, plus my work vehicle. There are 2 vehicles in the garage, one is plated on a plated trailer, the other is one that my 16 yr old son and I are spending time together fixing up for him to drive. Our initial parking pass was denied for unknown reasons, and we just received a $300 dollar charge for overnight street parking. I thought this was supposed to be a community for families? I guess we arent allowed to have kids with their own vehicles. Why would the association of a supposed family oriented community penalize someone for having a large family?

Im not usually one to post reviews, good or bad, but todays culmination of a months-long interaction with the Power Ranch Community Association definitely merits public scrutiny and light to be cast on the unprofessional and ill-mannered behavior and interactions with CYNTHIA BADGER, the the COMMUNITY STANDARDS COORDINATOR. Having been in Power Ranch for over 10 years, my family and I are well-versed with the need for community standards, and always happy to comply with CLEAR and CONSISTENT standards. As a customer-facing professional I also know that treating people with respect is not just part of being a DECENT HUMAN BEING, but also a way to guarantee that your business runs smoothly and that your bottom line is not affected. After having received a number of notices of violations that were AMBIGUOUS in their written wording - formatted in the most confusing way possible that could only be attributed to incompetence at best, or sheer laziness at most - providing over 17 random items that were NOT PRESENT on the property, I tried to ascertain the source of the violation, with different folks at the office stating different things. In fact, one worker answered the phone and reviewed my violation and had no idea what was unsightly in the photo. When I FINALLY received a dismissive and arrogant voicemail stating what the issue was, a fine was imposed 9 days afterwards, well under the 14 days that the written violation notice states, mind you the same letter also states that (the HOAs) goal is to work with (us) to correct the violation. My most recent outreach was finally returned well over a week later (today), but when I asked to inquire why the fine still stood if the situation had been rectified well within the 14 days that was stated in previous documentation, CYNTHIA BADGERS unprofessionalism, escalating and combative verbal abuse and what can only be described as unpleasantness and grumpiness exhibited only by the most stubborn of individuals who do not listen to reason or facts. SHE THEN HUNG UP ON THE PHONE, SHORTLY BEFORE THREATENING Im not going to do this in a dismissive and arrogant tone. Which at that point she was merely arguing with herself. Where is basic human decency for folks trying to enjoy quiet, peace and tranquility, who are happy to comply and adhere to CLEAR and CONSISTENT community standards, when we have a question TRYING TO RECTIFY a violation? Because of this ongoing harassment Power Ranch does not feel like home. I call on CCMA to look into this type of treatment because I know that I am not the only one in the community that has experienced this unfair treatment.

As a marketing professional and member of the community, I would recommend that Power Ranch and CCMA do a quarterly check on who they hire in the HOA. Having someone like Cynthia Badger answer the phones or interacting (more like arguing and bullying) with any paying customer of the community, poorly represents the core values Power Ranch stands for; integrity, respect, service and community (which she has failed to demonstrate over an over through her words and actions). We have tried to get in touch with Cynthia Badger, specifically, to address a violation -- that she admitted on the phone via voicemail that was "ambiguous" as it had a list of 17 RANDOM ITEMS that could potentially be unsightly. Mind you, nothing was specifically called out in those 17 items. Instead she calls us at 7am knowing we most likely would not answer the phone as it is outside of Power Ranch's business hours. We left over 5 voicemails for her and she is ALWAYS OUT OF THE OFFICE. While she finally called us back (2-weeks later) to address a fine that was implemented on the property and instead of hearing us out as we tried to CALMLY DISCUSS the issue, she ESCALATED THE CALL to the point where she HUNG UP on us because in her words we were "challenging" the FACTS AND DATES WITH HER OWN INFO SHE LEFT ON THE VOICEMAIL AND WRITTEN RECORDS, that clearly did not align with the violation in question. Instead of communicating like a customer-facing professional/ Community Standards Coordinator should, SHE BULLIED US, left unprofessional voicemails, and intentionally did not contact us in a timely manner when we tried to get in touch with her. WE HAVE THE RECEIPTS TO PROVE IT.
