I definitely would NOT recommend this company. We were selling our home and called them to do some BINSR repairs. They were tasked with many small repairs throughout the house. One repair was stop the upstairs shower which the shower head was dripping. The next day we go a call saying that the pipe burst and water had completely flooded our upstairs bathroom. Our house was under contract and 2 weeks away from closing. The water drained through the floor and destroyed our downstairs ceiling and was in the walls throughout the living room/ kitchen/ downstairs bathroom. The worst part was that they refused to take responsibility for it. They claimed that it was not their fault, and told us if we wanted them to manage the clean up and repairs it would be AN ADDITIONAL Management fee. We had only a few days to scramble to find a water remediation company, drywall repair, and painter to do the work before the final inspection. It was a huge nightmare! Save yourself the headache and look for another company! Response to Owner: The independent plumber stated that the damage was caused due to the cartridge in the shower not being replaced, and the job being left unfinished overnight (when the damage occurred). The damage was deemed by the insurance adjuster to be caused by negligence of the handyman/plumber that originally worked on the shower. Also, I called the water remediation company. I was forced to do this because Mr. Honey Dew Services refused to file an insurance claim and I had no choice but to file a claim through my home owners insurance. You called a drywall repair man, and he never showed up. I called him twice and waited a couple of days before I "scrambled" to find another person to complete that job. I specifically remember having to make all these calls because i did not want to pay additional management fees to you. After all, why should I have to pay you more to fix a problem that you created. I also had to find someone to replace the carpet in the downstairs bedroom that was ruined. You left us completely hanging 2 weeks before closing. Service: General repairs

I gave these guys the benefit of the doubt because they were referred to me, but it was exactly the experience I didn't want to have in hiring a handyman. They provided me a quote just based on a picture I emailed them, before they had even come out to see the repair needs. The quote seemed high, but I assumed they gave themselves plenty of room for the unexpected since they were basing it off a photograph, and I needed the repairs done quickly for the sake of my tenant. Unfortunately, after they had ripped out some particle board, they hit me up for almost a 40% increase in price because they needed to cut and replace a small section of damaged drywall. See the pictures and judge for yourself... does that look like over $600 of work? It came out to $125/hour (labor only, materials extra), which really seems excessive to me for plywood and drywall work. Next time I'll do it myself. Edit: the worker arrived at 8:30am and was finished by 1pm. This was not a 5.5hr job. The worker was on site for 3 hours. The rest of the time was an excessively long run to Home Depot; I assume there must have been a lunch break or something else lumped in there based on the time it took.
