I am giving this a 2 star review for a few things Ive experienced my first time at this salon. First of all, I have thick, curly & long hair as being part African American so it can be a lot to manage at sometimes which I get, so as a courtesy I blow dried my hair to make it easier on the stylist. I booked a full highlight as I wanted to go lighter before the summer. When I met the stylist I explained what I wanted and she even showed me reference photos and we agreed on what I ideally was looking for. After that she looked through my hair and how much of it I had and she basically told me that this salon is not full service, that there was not enough time to service on what I wanted because she only had an hour for the service & i should take my business elsewhere and she didnt want to waste my time being there. She also stated that since it was my first time getting my hair dyed she was worried she was going to mess it up and I was going to go out with something I hated which truly worried me because she is supposed to be the professional. At this point I was confused on a few things, the reason being is because prior to this appointment this EXACT hairstylist worked on my TWIN sister who has almost the same hair texture as me 6 weeks ago and it was her first time getting her hair dyed and she booked a full highlight and they had NO problem servicing her and gave her what she booked for. At this point I was confused on why she was able to work on her and not me. So instead of getting a full highlight, I got a light brown full color because I also informed the stylist that I wanted to cover all of my grey hair which they did by doing full color. All in all, I feel like I was given excuses on why she just did not want to take the time to do my hair. I walked out of the salon not knowing how I felt about the color because Ive never had my hair this dark before and again did not walk out with what I came in for which was the complete opposite. I will end this off by saying the customer service is great and the shampooer who I believe was Alexis she made me feel great about my curly hair and even gave my tips on how to manage it but if youre a customer who has thick & curly hair do not go here because they will give you excuses on why they cannot service you & may walk out disappointed.

I came in for a full highlight, emphasizing how my roots needed attention as they were coming in dark. After 3 hours and $165, my roots are still brunette and it looks as though my hair was only toned. Would not recommend if youre looking for a blonde stylist Update: Kathy re-did my roots for me, and I couldnt be more pleased!! She did an amazing job and I love how my hair turned out! Will definitely be coming back!

$100 to have someone apply box color to your hair. There is nothing custom about this place.

Love their service. Staff always responds Friendly. I absolutely love their suggestions. I feel relaxed and rejuvenated
