Tutor time in Gilbert leaves their doors unlocked and supervisors door unlocked with children information and addresses. I called customer service and they say that there is nothing they can do

My son started here when he was just 4 months old. I LOVED this center while he was in the infant and young toddler rooms. Around the time new management took over, things started going downhill. I felt that my child was treated like an inconvenience . The center is chronically understaffed with a huge turnover rate. I raised my concerns with the staff, the assistant director, the director, and nothing got better. In some ways it got worse. My son was moved to a room where he couldnt be potty-trained when he was not potty-trained yet so they could fill his spot. When I found out and pleaded for them to help him somehow, it fell on deaf ears. Lots of empty promises were made, but no changes. They claimed they were working with him everyday, but he was having 3-4 accidents each day. Just to give perspective, as soon as he was moved to a new daycare he was having 0-1 a day. There was never any accountability taken. My complaints were met with excuses and action-less apologies. My son loved going here when he was younger. The last few weeks he cried and begged to not be left there with the new teacher they put him with. When I shared that he didnt like her with the director, she told me that the teacher he was currently with was better with older kids and that other parents had complained about her, but they continued to have her supervising toddlers despite her harsh and cold demeanor towards them. I was heartbroken to have to change his daycare provider after being with them for so long. I gave them so many chances and nothing changed. So disappointed.

I would not recommend this center. My three year old son attended this center since he was about 14 months old. Ive been disappointed here and there with Tutor Time, but never anything super upsetting until recently. There is a high turnover rate in teachers, so theres always different teachers coming and going. The director is great, I never had any issues with her, but I cant say the same about the new assistant director. I walked into my sons classroom to her basically yelling at my son, she didnt realize I had walked in. Then once she saw me she completely changed her tone. Which was weird and suspicious to me. Like dont switch up how you talk to my child when Im around versus when Im not around. In the last two weeks my son was at this center, the times I picked him up, he was soaking wet in pee and smelled as if he had been sitting in it. (Hes not fully potty trained). One week they kept calling me at work about loose bowel movements. The policy is three within an hour the child has to go home. But they were calling me after just one. In my opinion they have too many kids and teachers that cant handle the kids so they try and send certain kids home. I was told by friends and family that he was probably having lose bowel movements because he was nervous from the atmosphere. Especially because he had no fevers or any symptoms at home. They also lost his soiled loose bowel movement clothes. The assistant director wouldnt help me find them. Then when I eventually was given one of the three pairs it was days later and I had to throw the clothes away. This center is a hot mess if I ever saw one. Especially with this new assistant director and constantly new teachers that cant seem to handle the children, I would not enroll your child here.

This is not a safe place for children. The director is rude, arrogant, and very unprofessional. The first time we walked in for a tour, she was not welcoming. The attitude is "that's all you get. Take it or leave it". I wanted to give this place a benefit of a doubt, but I certainly shouldn't have. After starting that day "care", my daughter (1y10m) started waking up at night (twice) asking for milk. I talked to the director about giving my daughter more milk during the day, but she said that she wouldn't do it, and when I tried to get a more reasonable explanation, she said to me that that daycare was apparently not a place for me and my daughter. I told her that she is quite rude, and she started screaming at me, told me to leave her office, take my child (who I just dropped off) and never come back to "her daycare". I couldn't take my child right away and she said that she doesn't want to see me there the day after today. In the evening, when i came to pick up my daughter, i received an incident report that stated that my daughter was "repeatedly pushing the other child on the head (to get off a swing)". First, it is pure retaliation. That director wanted me out of the daycare and she took it out on my daughter. Highly UNPROFESSIONAL! Second, they obviously don't know anything about early childhood development since they created this report. Such behaviors are very common in kids of that age. And what had to happen is that the teacher (instead of watching how my child was "repeatedly pushing" the other one) had to intervene and separate the kids and try to talk to my child. Third, the director signed off of that incident report - yes, she is ignorant about the children's development just as well. I do not know who allowed this people to work with kids. On top of that, i called the corporate office with my complaint. The regional manager told me that the director should definitely apologize and she would schedule a meeting. NEVER HAPPENED! They said I would get the refund for the two days that my daughter did not attend (since she was thrown out of there) - NEVER HAPPENED. This company only cares about getting the money from the parents, but they do not provide welcoming/respectful environment for the parents and children.
