image Such an easy experience to get our Estate set-up. I don't know why I delayed so long, thinking it would be a hassle. They emailed us a form to fill out, once we sent it back, we met with them once to discuss everything and then went back to sign. Easy, peasy!! Highly recommend them!

Since I made the calls from my work phone I have the convenience that this call was recorded. Alexzandria did not ever mention this to me in any of the phone calls we had. So to add to this review is that they are dishonest. Additionally as previously stated we never said we wanted to go elsewhere, I specifically stated that we felt Mr. Harrison was rude and disrespectful. He did not allow us to speak and simply left the room. The follow up to my review from this firm shows the lack of compassion or any accountability, or professionalism. This is very embarrassing for them, as their response shows this. Showing up to an appointment with a non-verbal 18 month old who requires special care given his needs shows the complete lack of care this firm has for its clients or their specific situations. If they had any consideration they wouldve seen our son could not hear or understand the conversation we were embarking on. As with most human interaction the information being presented is just as important as how it is presented. That includes tone and reading the room, but also taking accountability and ownership. We were dismissed by the condescending offer to reschedule and offered the proof that we were told not to bring children. Once Mr. Harrison realized he was wrong and offered to continue the appointment but again, would not take accountability or show compassion for how he made other humans feel. He is rude and not professional. But as this firm has shown, they dont care about their clients, Absolutely unprofessional. Im thrilled that we left. I just hope my review helps others do the same. :)
**original review**I have never been treated so horribly by another professional in my entire life. My husband and I began working with Harrison Law to build our trust. Alexzandria was phenomenal and patient, answered all of our questions and got us set up for our appointment with Matthew Harrison. We arrived at our appointment today with our 1 year old. Mr. Harrison abruptly entered the room and unbelievably condescendingly advised us to reschedule without a child as it was disclosed to me multiple times previously to not bring a child - Since we are discussing death. I explained that I was never told that. He cut me off and said Ill print the emails so you can read what you received, and he exited the room. I reviewed my emails and all the fine print, once he left just embarrassed I was treated so horribly. I could not find this missing information. Mr. Harrison returned and rudely said lets just move on and attempt to get this appointment done with the child. I inquired on the emails that he was printing for me and he said well it was never sent to you which is why Im here, lets just do this. I have never been talked to so horribly by a professional, so I advocated for myself and shared with him that he was extremely rude to us especially since I told him I didnt receive the emails. I felt this gave him the opportunity to start over and treat my husband and I with dignity and possibly apologize for the confusion, but no. As I was speaking that very short sentence he was exiting the room and told me to take my business elsewhere.
I am absolutely awestruck that we were treated so horrifically by someone who is a professional and claims to help families. In my opinion on this day he was an awful human being and I hope my review helps anyone else avoid ever interacting with this person on a professional level. Completely unprofessional. The one star is for Alexzandria and her decency to other humans, even in the brief interactions we had.

It is a longstanding firm policy that minor children are not present during appointments. This is for two primary reasons. First, because of the length and nature of a legal appointment, children often become distracted and disruptive, this leads to issues. Second, is because of the sensitive nature of topics discussed during appointments. This situation is especially true in meetings involving estate planning appointments where sensitive issues such as the potential disability and/or death of parents and other loved ones are covered. Hearing this can be a very traumatic event for a child. Although we are surprised why any individual would bring a minor child to a legal appointment, we take two steps to prevent it from occurring. First is to notify the prospective client during their initial phone call with our office and secondly through our email correspondence confirming the date and time of the appointment. In your situation, the verbal instruction was provided by Alexzandria, but the email correspondence did not contain the reminder sentence concerning minor children.During the brief interaction with you before the initial appointment, the policy on minor children was again described to you by Mr. Harrison and the need to reschedule your appointment. He inquired If there was a better date/time when children would not be present. He was told there was not and you were unaware of the policy. Mr. Harrison then went to check with staff if you were informed of the policy and found the verbal notice was provided, but the email did not contain the reminder sentence concerning minor children. When returning to discuss the situation with you, Mr. Harrison stated that he was willing to proceed with the appointment with the understanding that sensitive items would be discussed or the appointment could be rescheduled for a better date/time. You informed Mr. Harrison that you did not want to proceed at all. He responded that your decision was certainly understandable and wished you the best.Mr. Harrison was neither rude nor unprofessional. Instead, he was following the longstanding policy that has very valid and important reasons for its existence. You were offended by being asked to reschedule and did not want to proceed when given the opportunity at that time or at a future date. Again, you were wished the best and allowed to seek another firm in your legal network.
