Kona Grill

Man has this place fallen off! I used to come here quite a bit when I lived nearby but not so much lately. The first table we were sat in was sticky needed to be wiped off. Walking to the table, the floors were dirty and had multiple napkins on the floor. Calamari was stale and dry, the overpriced Vegas rolls were lukewarm and the pad Thai tasted more like mush than noodles. The only reason this place got 2 stars was because the service was good. Our server was training a new person and both were prompt and friendly. The whole experience was way less desirable than expected, especially for the price.

Celebrated my 35th birthday with family and friends. I was already having the best time. I didn’t think it could get any better. And then our server Danny introduced himself to our table. I am big on customer service and I always love having exceptional service. I can without doubt say that Danny just made this year be most memorable birthday of my life. He went above and beyond and his provided exceptional service. He had a us smiling & laughing to the point where our sides hurt. Danny was great about us staying longer than a typical timeframe and he was beyond attentive. Another server who’s name is Pedro was so sweet and would address me by name. They truly made me feel so special on my birthday. We already knew we loved Kona Grill. And now we know to ask for Danny! Thank you again for making my birthday the best one ever!
