Los Gordos Mexican Food

This was on my list of Flagstaff small businesses that I wanted to support. I wanted to like this place and recommend to others. Today was the day. I checked the hours on google maps (the hours are wrong) then ordered online through the "From the Resturant" app (the hours are wrong there also) and was given the update that my order would be ready at 9:00 am (cool ). Drove from Kachina Village (8 miles for a cake) specifically to pick up my order and the restaurant was closed...ok, I can deal with that. The keyholder (owner?) showed up as I was trying to open the door and was rude and standoffish. I asked how long it would be and he mumbled something. I didn't have time (this is why you mobile order) to wait for them to run through their opening procedures, so I asked to cancel the order. The cashier did try to help me cancel the order, but more rudeness was coming from the kitchen. I still do not have a recourse to have my order canceled (not available to cancel in the app), and have been charged ~$24. If a refund comes through, awesome, I'll give it another shot in the future and update my review, but for now service leaves a lot to be desired. Don't rely on the posted hours. If a refund comes through, great, I'll try again in the future and update my review, but for now the service leaves a lot to be desired. Don't trust published schedules. Make sure you pay in cash.

This place is useless, I don't know why I keep going, I just left very pissed off. I ordered a carnitas burrito to go and had to wait for 8 people who ordered after me to get their food. Please, how is this going to be possible? What bad service!

We were on our way from Scottsdale to Flagstaff to our Air BNB in a bit of a rush to catch the USA vs MEXICO soccer game and not only did we get snowed on we had to take extra precautions to get to our destination and stream game. Once in Flagstaff on our way to our AirBnB we glaanced over to see that Los Gordos restaurant had the game and we immediately drove into parking lot and finished watching the game there. We where a tad hungry and ordered carne asada fries for the group of 5. We ate tacos and tortas wow thank you chef all our food was delicious. Tacos & Tortas de cabeza, tripas and carne asada were a bit of Mexico. The atmosphere was a tad diferente as they share place w 3 other businesses. This an interesting way do run a business might catch on two thumbs up. Thank you for the great service.

This place doesnt have change and make the excuse that there is a national change shortage for why they are too lazy to go to the bank and get coinage. In turn they round up your order unless you have exact change. Customer service was rude and gave numerous dirty looks while I waited for my food. If you enjoy being made to feel like a restaurant hates you this is the place to go. I do not recommend. Dirty Dirty Dirty
