Dr. O'Connor is EXCELLENT & an Absolute Sweetheart!! I injured my big toe/nail & was having trouble getting adequate care through my primary & after seeing a PA at urgent care. Went to specialist urgent care over an hour away, but their DPM didn't have opening to remove nail. They provided me Dr O'Connor's name&phone#. She was closed for lunch but answered doorand said she would fit me in same day within hour!! She explained everything & immediately put me at ease. After doing exactly what she told me, it was well-healed by 2-week followup. She said it would have gotten infected & been a much bigger problem had it not been removed. I'm so glad she took care of me when I showed up! She deserves 10

Dr. O’Connor evaluated my son's feet and ankles and fit him with custom orthotic inserts. His feet needed a major correction. The inserts have made a huge difference and have helped my son tremendously. Will be going back for other family members soon.

She's okay. Had a decent bedside manner, had the manners to introduce herself and close out the appt when it was over. However, I didn't like that I was charged $30 more than I was quoted. The first time I called and made an appt, I was given the price with no hesitations. Had to cancel it and several weeks later when I rebooked, asked (as a reminder) the charge. The receptionist hemmed and hawed, said that it depended what she did, but then stated certainly that the consultation was $120. (She came up with $50 for each xray.) In the appt, the doctor made the comment that because I didn't have insurance, she wasn't going to take any xrays as she didn't feel it was necessary. I'm at a loss as to how and why overpaid insurance companies control the decisions doctors make on non-insured patients. (But hey, I've been to doctors overseas and in undeveloped countries. So much easier and cheaper to get medical help.) Her statement told me so much about her ideology of doctoring. Back at the desk, I was informed the charge was $150. When I questioned it, it was very obvious that something was seriously amiss here. Moral of the visit: this doctor works for the overpaid insurance companies. She's forgotten why she ever studied medicine. If you don't have insurance, don't like being taken advantage of, or can hold off or go to another town, do that. In addition, about 2 wks after seeing her, I called and left a msg. Have never received a call back.
