We had a new paver patio and retaining walls built into our backyard in November. We worked with a friendly and professional landscaper named Will. There are many great things about this company including professionalism, affordability, responsiveness, large range of skills/types, and quality of work.
They were very professional. When you call the office, there is a nice secretary who always answers and takes your message. They always called back within a reasonable time frame. Will was very organized and honest. He would tell us when the next time he was available to meet up and always tried to meet the deadlines. Although they had a slightly longer wait time to start our project due to their high workload, they started it right on time...in the freezing snow of November.
The quotes from Bob's was much more affordable than the 4 other companies that came out. With the amount we paid, we were able to get a hug 1100 square feet paver patio with retaining walls, several large trees, 3 tree removed, grading, and gravel in whole backyard, whereas, we would have only gotten half of the paver patio with retaining walls with the other companies.
Will was very quick to respond. He reassured me and answered all of my questions. Whenever I wanted something changed, he would discuss it with his crew and fix the problem for us. Overall, he had good communication skills.
We were grateful that Bobs was able to remove trees without having to contract this job out. This really made the process more hassle free because we only had to work with one company that could do it all.
Overall, we were happy with the quality of work. There were a few minor details that we mentioned as they were working on the paver patio. They fixed them right away. The only part I didn't like was the initial layout of the steps. They had different angles as you walked down the 3 steps. I am very OCD and I like equal proportions, straight lines, and correct angles. I had tried to address this issue, but it was the only one that wasn't fixed until after they were done. They did come back out to try and fix the problem.
I would highly recommend this company. Bobs Tree and Landscaping will be our go to people for other jobs around the house from now on.
