Mattie creates magic with hair. He takes the time to understand your vision then executes it with flawless precision. I appreciate how he explains each step of the process and educates me about how to recreate the style myself. I've been seeing Mattie for over a year and I can't say enough good things! I recently got a light copper-brown full balayage with butterfly layers and bangs. His painting was meticulous and there is so much dimension in my color, I can't stop looking at it! Mattie is one of the best hair stylists Ive had in the past decade or so that Ive been getting my hair done. I tend to be indecisive and unsure of what I want to do with my hair and he is always able to work with me, talk it through and give me feedback to help me reach my hair goals. I have thick and bulky hair which has not always been the easiest for others to work with in my experiences. Mattie was the first hair stylist to help me understand why I had such a hard time going blonde without just getting brassy. Ever since he touched my hair, it has been healthier, brighter and blonder! He is so easy and fun to talk to and I am never bored, even during the longer sessions that weve had together. I highly recommend Mattie to everyone I know!! He is SO knowledgeable about the art of hair. He thoughtfully considers what cut, color & style would work best for my hair type, face shape, skin tone & personality. He stays current on the latest styles & techniques. I am always learning new things from Mattie about how to keep my hair healthy, and tips on how to style my hair. He is so comfortable & easy to talk to!
