Door was not fixed. When asked for maintenance to check and fix the door my old roommates broke they only came in to look at it then filed the work order as complete. I have a friend moving into that room in a week and she wont be able to move in because of the door.

I have been with this complex for two years now and I can confidently say that since Yugo has taken over the quality of living has declined dramatically. It has been made abundantly clear that Yugo only cares about obtaining new residents rather than sustaining a decent quality of life for their current/returning residents. The complex as a whole is cleaned once a year when a new lease term is starting, as they obviously want new residents to be under the impression that this complex is a clean place. However, that is extremely misleading. There is animal feces in the hallways, stairwells, sky deck, and outdoors by the gym at all times. Elevators and stairwells are consistently sticky and dirty. Additionally, at the beginning of the lease term packages and mail are easily received, but as the lease term progresses there are continual complications with receiving packages. I have had packages lost, and damaged. A christmas gift was written on with sharpie, promised to be replaced, and then administration failed to replace the damaged item. Furthermore, parking for residents is nearly impossible to obtain. As of recently the administration at Yugo has made it clear that parking is only a priority, again, for new residents. Current residents are towed relentlessly, but have been given little to no alternatives for parking, if passes are not an available. If you are a new resident reading this or thinking about living here, I would 100% not recommend bringing any type of vehicle, not even a bike (as those have been threatened to be removed on multiple occasions as well. The prices go up every year and the quality continues to go down. I pay roughly $950 a month for a bedroom that is so small that my desk sits at the end of my bed, but the desk cannot be used as the chair does not fit comfortably between the desk and the bed. The room is also too small to rearrange. The walls are very thin, as the place is built very cheaply as a whole. Also worth noting that Im in a 4x4 apartment. To discuss the quality of maintenance, my garbage disposal broke over the summer and it took 3 weeks for someone to come and fix it which created a horrible smell in the apartment for all 3 weeks it was broken. I also had toilet parts left in my apartment for 2 weeks with no updates as to what to do with it after they sent a notice about water related repairs. My toilet has also been flushing weird ever since these repairs were completed. Complaints are met with little to no resolve, and I can fully say I never felt as if I mattered as a resident to this complex or that I was getting my moneys worth out of it. Yugo as a national company seems to have a pretty bad reputation, upon doing my own research on their socials and looking at student housing reviews in other states. There is so much more that I could say about this complex in terms of having a negative experience but this review is already pretty lengthy. My best advice is to avoid this place at all costs, and if given the opportunity to do things differently, I wouldve never renewed my lease here.
