      image I had an unpleasant experience with whom I presume is the owner of this shop. I was having a discussion with my friend about a particular portrait of Louis XVII and how it was mislabeled as Louis XVI and the owner took offense and asked me to leave. Completely uncivilized. If you scroll at the reviews below, youll notice that this guy has a problem with professionalism. Steer clear from this place. There are plenty of other places in Flagstaff who know how to treat customers with courtesy.
      *Update* response: What a ridiculous accusation. I do not recall being behind any counter with a register. I distinctly remember being next to a counter, looking at a portrait that was on display. Youre clearly delusional and your accusation says more about you than it says about me. Clearly, Im not the only one you have issues with based on the comments below. Thats alright, Im not worried. If you want to run your business to the ground because of a bad attitude, thats your right

      First of all, you went behind the display case next to the counter where our cash register is, and where visitors are not allowed unless permitted to do so. You became argumentative and defensive when asked what you are doing behind my counter. The portrait is clearly labeled as a portrait of the son of Louis XVI which is the translation of the lithographed title of the portrait in French:"Portrait du Fils de Louis XVI". Your friend then went outside the shop and you started yelling inside my store. I had other customers inside my shop at that time as well. I want my customers to enjoy being there but your yelling is not conducive to a pleasant experience. You were asked to leave as you were obviously not acting in a polite and respectful manner. Respect goes both ways. I do not tolerate rude and uncivilized visitors in my shop.

      Fact: your husband answered his phone and after that was asked to please take his call outside of my store as a courtesy to the other customers that were in my shop. I did not ask your husband to hang up. Anyone with good manners, self-respect and consideration for others, knows to take their call outside a business establishment. My store is not a phone booth. Before he stepped out, your husband shouted vulgar, obnoxious and curse words at me. You then came back in my store and spewed out worse vulgar, obscene language in front of at least 10 other customers which by the way included children. Way to go be abusive in public and show how entitled you are. You must be proud of yourself! There is a sign posted by the entrance of my shop that personal and private calls are not allowed inside. People don't realize that they are talking loudly and affecting the experience of other customers. I have many customers with good manners who don't need to be asked to take their personal call outside. They have the decency to step outside as soon as they say hello to their caller.

      image Whoever was working 11/6 at 2pm was incredibly rude and made my experience awkward. Was looking to purchase a native figurine piece but decided to look somewhere else because of the stuck up ahole working there. Thumbs down.
      To your idiotic response, I wasnt even on a phone call fool. And apparently a lot of people dont like your store with 3.7 stars. L business owner.

      99% of my problems with customers revolve around personal phone calls in my shop. It makes it difficult to help other customers. When I ask my customers to please take their call in the mall, most understand, some want to beat me up. I'm sorry you didn't like my store! Jack Delaporte

      image My wife and I stopped in the other day, and we know very little about antiques. Jack was incredibly friendly, and eager to provide information and answer any questions we had while we looked around. We ended up buying an adorable little tea cup that she loves.
