Dr. Gowey is a remarkable provider, and truly thoughtful. She is attentive to my concerns and always finds what helps. Her office is inviting. Cant say enough good things!

Dr. Gowey is super!!!! We have been seeing her for around 7 years and travel over an hour each way for our entire family. She is the best full health practitioner we have ever met and does not quit until she finds the reasons behind anything happening. She is amazing and I would say she has saved many of my loved ones for years of chronic pain and/or diseases. She is our family forever doc and like a part of our family!

This review is long overdue. I was a patient of Dr. Gowey for a few years. She seemed fairly good but the last time I went to see her, she ran some tests on me and kept telling me my issue was due to an old diagnosis she gave me when I initially went to see her, and she said it is what it is basically and tried to sell me more herbs like she always did. I then reached out to my daughters Natropath after non-stop menstrual bleeding for more than 3 months to get a second opinion on my bloodwork that Gowey ran on me. She looked over the bloodwork and she immediately said my progesterone levels are almost non-existent. She told me to use a natural progesterone cream. After literally 2 days the bleeding stopped after over 3 months! Mind you I was anemic at this point. When I very nicely called Gowey and asked her why she didnt think my non-existent progesterone levels were an issue, she literally told me once again that wasnt the issue and then after she hung up, her receptionist calls me back to tell me they are withdrawing/dismissing me from her practice. She said because Gowey and I dont see eye-to-eye and Im not a good fit for her practice. Can you IMAGINE!!! I would be very careful going to see this doctor as I felt very wronged by this entire experience and she just would not admit she messed up. Not a good thing in my opinion. I wasnt going to ho back to her anyway but theres no excuse for the way I was treated. Im definitely not a stupid person and she didnt like to be confronted regarding the issue.

I came to Dr. Gowey spirit broken and exhausted. Walking was heart pumping difficult and I experienced a lots of joint and nerve pain. I was 41 and felt like I had aged to 90. I was an athlete, that had ran ultras and mountain biked a 100 miles in day. My first consult I cried as, I felt heard and reassured that something was wrong and it wasnt in my head or a normal part of aging. Dr. Gowey sent me for blood work and started me on a plan to get back to health. I changed my diet, did the IV therapy, hydrotherapy and DNA testing. I took the medicine, did the bath soaks, slathered on the magnesium cream and I started to feel better. Her office visits also gave me the courage to advocate for myself with my PCP and employment. I was referred to a cardiologist and had an echo. I decided to take care of myself and go on FMLA and change work positions to help with stress. Today I was out riding my mountain bike on Elden, laughing and smiling. It has been a slow process to heal.however with the diagnosis of Chronic Fatigue/Fibromyalgia from the PCP(and Epstein Barr virus, vasculitis) I feel like a miracle is happening. CFS patients usually take years to heal if they heal at all. Im continuing with Dr. Gowey treatments because they work, she has a positive attitude and a whole lot of compassion. Im getting my life and my energy back.
