I miss working here so much, I worked here for about 10 years and this place is amazing. The members make coming to work everyday so rewarding. I left because I moved away but it will always hold a special place in my heart. Melanie Young, the agency director, always first and foremost has the members needs at the forefront while still managing to juggle every need of the staff, no matter how difficult it may be. She always does her best to find a solution to keep this well built, well oil machine running smoothly and adapt to any and all new changes and struggles that she is faced with. Much love to all my YES the ARC friends and Family. And shout out to Melanie for always finding a way to adapt and thrive for the sake of the members who rely on this great Agency.

I had a little incident today I would like to share with everyone.We are living in aCovid-19 world ,isnt it time for more kindness, consideration, and compassion ? Im 72 yrs. old recovering from a mild case of coronavirus,and just lost my partner of 40 years , just a week ago. I am doing fine , with the help of my faith. Anyhow I was headed to the funeral to attend to my situation.Afterwords it was about noon and I thought it was a day for one of my guilty pleasures; Taco Bell ! It was busy (10-12 cars in takeout line , all of a sudden out of nowhere quickly pulls up and edges in front of me! They had their windows down, I yelled ,God Bless You for being so inconsiderate ,they laughed and threw their hands in the air. At that point ,I took down the name and number and license plate of the van , spoke to a dis interest director and that was that.I found out after looking on line what they were all about...Hmmmph. Would you really want your emotionally or developmentally disabled child or adult involved? KINDNESS,COMPASSION,CONSIDERATION are NOT part of their employees and social workers motto.
