I would definitely recommend seeing Juniper if you are ready to make many mental and behavioral breakthroughs. Without her help I wouldn't be a fully functioning human being living life to the fullest. After a diagnosis of complex PTSD (my case is extreme) and multiple therapists around the area were either overwhelmed, unsure or not the right fit to help me. I was even deeper in despair to get better. She welcomed my call with warmth and complete understanding of what was going on with me. The first thing she did was reassure I wasn't crazy and that emdr could help. This was the start of getting my mental health back on track. After 2 intensive therapy sessions and months of weekly sessions- my life has changed for the better. She's warm yet firm, strong and will keep you accountable for the work that has to be done. My treatment plan was customized with realistic goals. I was able to get my mental health stable, get a new job, release old relationships that weren't serving me as well as a new/better living arrangement. I wouldn't have been able to accomplish this without her help and guidance. This isn't magic, YOU have to be willing to do the work. If you are stuck and are finally ready to reach out, I would highly recommend giving her a call. Thank you Juniper, I am forever grateful to you and the work you do

Every once in a while we all get a bit stuck. Sometimes it's a relationship, or work, or just life in general. But try as we might, we just can't seem to get back to seeing the good side of things rather than only focusing on the negatives. Not long ago I found myself in just that place. It wasn't terrible, but no amount of self help books, or long walks in the forest, or rides on my dirt bike were going to be enough to see me through. It was definitely time for some professional help. After a fairly extensive search, I reached out to Dr. Campbell and requested an appointment. Before we had even met, I found her to be professional, courteous, but most of all kind. And that, beyond every other trait, was what made me feel secure in sharing my story with a person who, at that point, was a total stranger. With each visit, I found myself more able to see my issues from a distance, wrap my head around the reality of the problems, and expand the tools I needed to deal with the issues in my life. Throughout, Dr. Campbell helped me weave through the puzzle I had created by providing guidance when I needed it, perspective I had lacked, and helped me develop an understanding that I needed to let go in some areas and be brave in others. I cannot strongly enough thank Dr. Campbell for her help, and have recommended her to both friends and family.

Hello my name is Paul. I served as a Marine in Vietnam in '72. Used drugs and alcohol to no end until 1989. But my nature was still violent. I don't believe in PTSD, I suffered from Vietnam Delayed Stress. I have been in and out of psychiatric care for almost 50 years. Until I met Juniper Campbell. I have been under her psychiatric care for two and a half years. She has taught or I taught myself with her guidance, to learn how to keep my anger under control, bring me back to good mental health, better than all of the psychiatrists I have seen ( at least a dozen) before. She has done more for my well being than ALL of the others. Would I recommend her to anybody, indeed. I believe she would be an excellent counselor for any combat service related issue. Thank you PS Take my advice, this lady is extremely helpful without psychotropic drugs. Again Thank You Paul

About
Juniper Campbell, LPC, CCTP

Counseling adults, adolescent girls (13+), couples, veterans & first responders. Hour sessions and day or multi-day intensive therapy sessions. Everyone goes through challenging situations in life, and while you may have successfully navigated through other difficulties you have faced, there is nothing wrong with seeking out extra support. I believe that all people have an innate wisdom and knowledge to make good choices for their lives. Sometimes we just need a little additional support, insight, tools and a fresh perspective. Therapy is for people who have enough self-awareness to realize they need a helping hand, and that is something to be admired and supported. Together we can gain positive insights to navigate the obstacles that keep you from living your best life.My counseling approach is eclectic using a foundation of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person Centered Psychotherapy (PCT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). I am trained through the Gottman Institute for couples counseling.
