Up the Creek Bistro Wine Bar

Found this place by accident while staying next door at the RV park. This is now my favourite place to go. If I'm ever in Phoenix, Flagstaff or near by, ill drive +2hours and go out of my way to come here. Wine selection is on point. Knowledgeable and fun staff. Food, top notch. The chefs are amazing and the food is super fresh nd flavourful.

We found out about this place from our Airbnb host. He raved about it and warned us not to judge a book by its cover. We made reservations for a window seat so we could watch the birds. It was so beautiful to wait for your food and watch hummingbirds drink their nectar. We ordered roasted cauliflower for an appetizer and it was delicious. The date sauce was such a perfect compliment to the dish. We split a veggie burger which was homemade and very good and an order of fish tacos that were also amazing. For dessert we tried the pistachio crme brle. 10 for 10 So very glad we stopped! The quality of the meal far exceeded the cost of our bill.

The restaurant is beautiful with unique food selections. The birds and the river are beautiful. The staff are knowledgeable and personable. Very satisfying experience. Kid-friendliness: The kids loved watching the birds.

I have been here several times and the food, ambiance and staff do not disappoint. A bit pricy, however, that is not unexpected nor exorbitant for food of this caliber.
