Unfortunately, I must update my previous 5 star review to a single star. I'd hired Legacy to do my taxes and was pleased with a favorable result. Nearly a year later, we were audited and the IRS said we owed over $3k! I called Stephen and he admitted an error on their part, that the IRS was correct. He verbally promised to at least cover the accrued interest of over $200 as that was only fair. After multiple emails, I've had no response or reimbursement of the interest or services provided (I'd paid approx $500 for services). It's a shame that no remediation was offered, which is basic common courtesy when you pay a professional to do something and they botch it. Would not recommend this business.

Unfortunately, this is a situation where the original return had income that was not reported because it was not provided to us. The IRS caught it and when the client provided the notice to us, I told her that the IRS was correct.
