        Im the Safety Director for a family owned Concrete business in Oregon, Im visiting family in Peoria AZ and I seen Rock Solid Concrete trucks on a job near my house, I watched there drivers operating in a professional manner, they also displayed a great sense of teamwork helping each other out, at the job site, reminds me of our team back home. These guys in the streets dont often get enough recognition. Great job Rock Solid !!!

        Horrible company, they have ZERO regard for the city of Phoenix construction noise ordinance of 6am-7pm and was pouring concrete at 4:30am 30' from my house and woke my entire family. Their reviews say a lot, dangerous drivers, rude customer service reps and no regard for city ordinances and laws...

        This company is very dangerous as this driver ran me and my sister off the road I reported him and they claim all trucks have the same tag numbers on the side I gave plate time and location but they claim to not be able to locate their driver. I dont know anyone who has the same numbers on all trucks for any company I also sent a video and they claim they cant tell who this drive is I can see his face clear as day! Do not do service with them company this guys needs to be fired as you can see he was clapping happy run black people off the road

        I have not used them personally but my experience with one of their drivers was uncomfortable They apparently are doing a job here in our community in Buckeye. Driving up Indian School in the middle of the day / this particular driver switched into my lane without signaling and very abruptly. Had I not of been paying attention and slammed on my breaks / he would have hit me. I hit the horn to get his attention / he started waving his arms around and gesturing at me. I was wondering what in the world made him get over like that. When I looked ahead about a 1/2 a mile the lane was ending but he had plenty of time without cutting me off.As I passed him / he again gestured and was laughing while looking at me.This is not a guy I would want representing my company so I wanted it out there. Bullying a woman alone in her car - not great

      We are very sorry about the incident which you reported involved a Rock Solid ready-mix concrete mixer truck. We go to great lengths to insure our drivers are highly trained and comply with laws and regulations governing state and local highways. The independent insurance rating for Rock Solid confirms very low incidence of traffic infractions and our commitment to safety.Rock Solid uses “dash cams” in every commercial vehicle to verify safe driving practices of drivers, providing video evidence of speed, traffic conditions, road hazards and driving behavior. With assistance from our company safety manager, a former DPS officer, we found and reviewed the “dash cam” video of the incident you mentioned.It was clear from review of the video that the Rock Solid ready-mix truck was traveling at or below the posted speed limit at all times and that the ready-mix truck never departed its travel lane. Also clear from the video were the ADOT posted signs regarding the ending of a merge lane and that all traffic should move into travel lanes. At this merge location, and because of the traffic congestion caused by the merge, the Rock Solid driver slowed down to allow traffic to enter travel lanes. Shortly after the ending of the merge lane, an automobile sped past the 80,000 pound ready-mix truck on the right shoulder, apparently hoping to cut in front of the truck, but realizing the shoulder narrowed, the auto came to a stop. The ready-mix truck continued to travel at a much reduced speed through this merge area as traffic was congested, traveling in the same lane until it exited the freeway about one mile past this point.We hope that when you need concrete for a patio or driveway, you select a contractor who is supplied by Rock Solid. You will find that our drivers are very skilled, courteous and safe.
