This is the most inefficient blood services that I have ever used. I had a 10:15 minute appointment which I was 10 minutes early, and had to wait 40 minutes for a phlebologist to take me back to the interview room. I showed the phlebologist my fast track questionnaire and she had to go help another person at the information desk leaving me waiting another 10 minutes. When she returned, even though I had already answered the 50 non-sensical questions online that could be condensed into 10 questions, she was about to go over them again with me. Anyway, after an hour of wasted time, I was fed up and left without giving blood. Don't get me wrong, the staff was pleasant enough but the scheduling of patients and redundant answering of questions is ridiculous. What should take 30 minutes to donate blood, would have taken 1.5 hours, if I would have stayed around to actually donate. I'll check around to see of there are any other blood donation facilities around, but don't waste you time at the Chandler Vitalant facility.
