My mom has been going to Dr. Seema for years and has always had wonderful experiences. She is a knowledgeable doctor and you can tell that she cares for her patients! My mom is a cancer survivor and she is only alive now because of Dr. Seema!

I met with Dr Seema prior to my full thyroidectomy. First, her office seems like they overbook patients and her waiting room is packed. I waited 45 minutes past my appointment time before I was seen at both of my appointments. In my first appointment, Dr Seema claimed she would be in contact with my surgeon and part of my surgery team. When I went in for my 6 week check up she did not even review my chart prior to seeing me. She started by asking why she was seeing me so I explained (after already going over it with her assistant) that it was my follow up to my thyroidectomy to go over my surgery and bloodwork. She then processed to ask me if my biopsy was positive for cancer. I was completely shocked that a doctor would treat a patient like that. First of all she had my records in front of her and could have read for herself. But if I had been diagnosed with cancer I would hope a doctor would have had more sensitivity around the subject. She then basically told me to take my pills and come back in 6 weeks. I asked her about my bloodwork because I saw 5 of my levels were off and she seemed annoyed that I had asked any questions. She scrolled up and down through my results and I had to stop her to ask if she could explain what each was. She either didn't know, didn't care, or didn't want to explain the results. Maybe she has too many patients to be able to provide quality care. I'm not sure what the reason, but I would never go back to this doctor after the lack of empathy and professionalism that I witnessed.
