Currently sipping on hot coffee at the dealership while I wait for my outback to be serviced. I knew I made the right decision to purchase a Subaru, because the customer service is phenomenal anywhere you go. Angela got me started in the service department-AMAZING SERVICE. I then realized I left my phone at the last business I was visiting and Yesenia let me use the phone for a solid 10 minutes to track it down. Y'all rock, Chandler Subaru! Thank you!

Service review: brought my suby in this February for the 100K check up/maintenance. Said my AC wasn't working. They said it was a o-ring leak. Asked them to replace all o-rings and a few other things, and paid around $3,000. A few months later, AC goes down hill again. In September I made an appointment to bring it back in - it completely stopped working- which they scheduled me for October. The original guy I worked with, Chris Kazien, apparently is no longer there so we were given Jerry Zack. Jerry checked the AC, said it was a leaking o-ring - but a different o-ring from the one leaking last time. When I said we asked all o-rings be replaced before, he said they didn't do that because 'if it's not broken, don't fix it'. That makes no sense. I brought it in for the check up, preventative maintenance, & asked they all be replaced....Jerry was rude, refused to understand where I was coming from, and I felt I had to pay the fee they required or they would hold my car hostage. I called to speak to the GM and the sales manager (I believe they are both Rob's), I started a online chat and requested to be contacted by the managers, since Jerry had zero customer service skills and no understanding of my frustration, and I received a satisfaction survey call earlier this week from a woman there and let her know my issues and requested to be contacted by management and NOTHING! Below is the outline of why I'm irritated: 1. didn't do as I asked and replace all o-rings when they were already draining the fluids/coolant, and I was paying the labor in February 2. Jerry was rude and inconsiderate when I tried to explain why I was frustrated. Asked that we not be charged for draining the fluids again, and he said there is no charge for that. Which is a lie - that is certainly part of the $387.50 in labor I was billed and on my old receipt from February, it shows a charge of $178.43 for this service. 3. In Febraury, my labor for the o-ring change only was $300 (in which they did 6 rings), in October it was $387.50 for 2 rings. So an extra $87.50 alone in labor due to inflation I can only expect, not to mention I already paid the $300 twice now. 4. I feel they should have compromised or COVERED this service due to their negligence, incompetence, and complete disregard for my original request. Because they screwed up, I paid an extra $455 and the inconvenience of driving out there and not having a car for the day, and being treated flat out mean and condescending by their service worker Jerry, and not getting any communication or return calls from management. Get service elsewhere. There is a family owned Subaru mechanic shop in Tempe that won't rip you off like this 'family' owned dealership that clearly doesn't care to make things right or have repeat business.
