Original post 2022: Tried goat curry and chicken biryani on our first visit. Food was freshly made and tasted great. Met all our expectations. Owner was very friendly. I was actually looking for an alternative for Hyderbadi or Bawarchi or Chennai Grill etc. I would definitely go back soon and intend to try the bengali style fish items. Highly recommend this place. June 23 Update: Tried vegetarian dishes this time. Food was horrible. This time it was a different person preparing the dishes. I am not sure if i should recommend this place. May be the Biryani items are only good.

My spouse and I dined at the establishment last night, initially feeling some hesitation due to the late hour on a Sunday. Upon entering the premises, I immediately noticed the impeccable cleanliness throughout, extending from the dining area to the kitchen. The attention to hygiene was commendable, with even the window frames appearing free of dust. The proprietor kindly informed us that only select dishes were available, as they prioritize cooking with fresh ingredients and endeavor to minimize the use of frozen items. Therefore, I would recommend inquiring about their current offerings when visiting. Subsequently, we opted for the Samosa, Chicken Biryani with potatoes, and a curry-based egg dish. The spiciness level was rated at 2 out of 10, and I would advise against exceeding 3 unless you possess a tolerance for heat. The food itself was nothing short of exceptional, exuding remarkable flavors and served in abundantly generous portions. To be frank, I have no complaints to voice; the staff exhibited politeness, and the quality of the food surpassed my expectations. As someone who is unreserved in expressing my opinions and occasionally prone to ranting about subpar establishments, I can confidently state that this particular dining experience exceeded all of my prior encounters. Vegetarian options: They have allot to choose from. Kid-friendliness: They have burger and fries for the kiddos Dietary restrictions: I was being a bit nosy, watching closely and bombarding the chef with questions. But hey, I couldn't help but notice that she always starts with a fresh, squeaky clean pan for every dish. So, if you're a vegetarian, you can feel good knowing that your food never comes into contact with any meaty stuff. Yes they are halal also.

My first time here and I must lead off by saying I am a complete novice when it comes to Indian cuisine. So, take everything I say here with that in mind. I dont know if this was prepared traditional or if it has been Americanized for our consumption. I ordered Bengali style Chicken Bunha. I will say I was pleasantly surprised with the flavor and heat in this dish. For the final $16.16 with tax price, it was a bit anemic in the meat column. Quantity was the right amount for a single lunch, but with all the restaurants around the competition is putting more in the plate for the money. I was the only person in the shop, my food was made fresh, although Im certain the chicken was precooked and then reheated upon order. Nothing wrong there, just a notation. The young man behind the counter was very nice and he was also the cook. He deserves kudos for both his roles.
