It was little drizzly in the morning, so rocks are little slippery, but trail is full of steady climb and rocks, must have a good shoes

Love this trail if short on time and you want a serious workout. It is 2.2 mile round trip, 1200 of elevation, American flag on top, super steep and rocky. There are areas where you hand touches the ground to get up an obstacle. Recommend trail shoes with good tread (not road runners) or hiking boots. Plenty of resting and view points, too is 360 degree view. Its not gated so you can enjoy the sunsets and use a headlight going down. If you like risk, its fun to run down this trail, requires super concentration but dont go down the rocks are nasty!! Parking: Parking is limited and about .3 miles down from trail head Fees: No fees, no gate, limited Parking, must walk up paved road approx .3 miles from Parking to trail head Restrooms: None Dog-friendliness: Dogs ok but know its very rocky and because of Terrain would not Recommend dogs under 30lbs
