Roya Zojaji, DDS, MS - Casa Grande Periodontics & Dental Implants

For reasons beyond my control, I had no choice but to go to see Dr. Zojaji. The office itself was very quiet, like its been abandoned for awhile. It was kind of creepy in there, but I just shrugged it off to be my nerves. It was only the dentist and one other person there. This was by far the most painful and traumatic experience I have ever had at a dental office. Normally when you go into a new office the first visit is a consult, so naturally when she came in and said we are removing some teeth my anxiety rose really quick. I was not mentally prepared for it. I was surprised to hear this. I asked "we are?" She replied with a rude tone stating, "that's what you came for, otherwise why you here?" I said "I don't know, (meaning I wasn't sure of their policies)." "you don't want do it today?" I was just stunned and said yes. (should've ran, but was already in pain for several days before this.)  She proceed to "numb" me and for some reason of my teeth would not get numb. She was very forceful and rough. She lost control a few times, banging around my mouth. The one tooth that wouldn't numb, she kept trying to numb it but it wouldn't work. I could tell she was getting frustrated because when she tried getting a hold of that tooth I would express pain. She even said at one point, "you're gonna have to have pain." What?! No!!!. I could hear other people walking in and I know they heard me almost yelling from the pain. I wanted it to stop but thought if I stop I will still have pain. I felt every single tug and prayed that it was over soon. Never going here again. Absolutely no bedside manner. After all that she made the ridiculous suggestion to take Tylenol for the pain. "Are you kidding me?!" I told her no you need to give me something, she got upset and asked with another tone where to send it. Needless to say this has been an experience that I will never for get.

I am most pleased with Dr. Zojaji's service: appointments schedule; and my teeth and gums are the better for her expertise.

My husband and I both see Dr. Zojaja for all our dental needs. She is extremely knowledgeable and efficient. Between us we have had extractions, fillings, and normal cleaning over the years. We highly recommend Dr.Zojaji to everyone looking for a stress free dental need.
