Getting to the point when other people outbid you to move in. Not s good deal. I had a standard offer and I lost living there immediately.

i live at parkway apartments.....have for 3 years. they are very nicely designed apartments. how ever......the new owners are taking away our porches. we have two.......one you enter thru on the front and a smaller one on the back next to the storage shed. recently we were told to clear off our front porch......with a threat if u do not. today the 18th of june.......we were told to empty our back porches......allowed potted plants and patio furniture...period. the rent is going up......amount not posted on website. they can not seem to employ a landscaper. if the rent was not going up and the private outdoor spaces being taken from us.....maybe the rock work that is missing, the weeds coming up and bushes not trimmed since last February......etc. would be easier to ignore. prior to new ownership i would have rated parkway at 5 stars.......now one star is appropriate.....sad....renter beware........ Update. Things are changing for the better!! Yay!! We have a new manager and maintenance man...both very reasonable and reliable. Back to using BOTH porches. !! My plants are very happy to be back outside....and so am i.....more later.....

As a resident of the Parkway Apartments Camp Verde, I give them 1 star because I can't give them 0. My reason for this is because since the New owners bought this place they have only cared about the look of the place and not their residents. Oh, and they only worked on the look of the place to a certain point. The back half hasn't been worked on. (The landscaping). They didn't have a maintenance person for Nearly a year! They haven't sprayed for bugs since the last owners. We Live in Arizona. Monthly spraying has to be done, or things you never knew existed will be in your home. (Snakes , Scorpions , Toranchillas, ect.) Just saw a snake outside another residents door last night 6-18-21. They took away our front porch, now our back porches. I mean REALLLY! They're raising the rents in November to $1250 for 2 bed, 2 bath with lease, month to month will be $1500. For a 3 bed, 2 bath $1475 with a lease. Month to month will be $1700. Right now market value in Camp Verde is $900. I came into these apartments at market value, but come November they're having Every Resident reapply to see if we qualify for the New rents. And if the don't they will have 30 days to vacate the premises. Camp Verde is Not a high end place to live. 95% of the people here are Low to middle class, with a small few of executives and rich ranchers. So I'm wondering what they hope to accomplish by raising the rents $500-$700.
