I have been so impressed with this school from the little details to the big things that matter. They are committed to keeping kids safe by only letting those on the approved pick up list show their ID's to pick up kids- IMPERATIVE in today's world. They are on top of informing parents about the status of the events, dates and information we need. They are so good about pumping the kids up for school everyday with fun music playing at the entrance and approved upperclassman opening doors for kids and saying "Have a great day!" Thought this was a 1st day of school thing but it's still going on! And from an educational standpoint I am so impressed. My girls are challenged and aided through every level of their education. They are both in the Honors class called Traditional Academy (not sure why this name when it's for all advanced students in each grade) and they are learning Spanish, moving though subjects and levels faster and I'm always kept informed about what is going to be taught. The principal at this school is incredible and is made for this job. He is kind, fun, caring and involved. He is high giving kids, giving smiles on the corner waving parents into school in the morning and sitting with the kids at lunch. You won't find a better school! Verrado Elementary is IT! I couldn't be happier.

I finally went to visit my sons new school today, the office was clean,Nicely decorated but man looks can be deceiving ! the energy was never inviting, I was never greeted!  instead, I was yelled at across the room and was told it was a no phone policy that I have to get off my phone. Like it was a Dr office! I kept my cool and got off the phone but, Not a great feeling when you're a LONG ways from home! Now, I cant recall any of their names but, I will say Im worried about the Sanderson Sister's being apart of my sons upbringing from the morning to the evening smh goodness I can only hope the teachers are better! Oh! How about it was a problem with me not having the same last name as my son! I was told I was not on any of the paper work smh I told her Show me?! Office manager lady?! The office mgr made it a huge issue with his Dad enrolling him. first off  you have NO IDEA!!! I refuse to discuss my personal with them but I'll let it be known here! I had a unexpected surgery. The Sanderson sisters are rude sad witches.  I already don't like this school! Keep your kids at Legacy Ladies and Gentlemen. Ill give them a try but so far I should of stayed. I even spoke to some of the parents and they expressed the office mgr has a bad attitude as well. If you ask me she has nothing to be sassy about just a average less attractive old head blonde.
