    If I could leave no stars I would. Horrible experience. I went in 03/30/24 due to my ear hurting. They took me in fairly quick and I felt relieved because I was in so much pain. I explained that I had ear pain and it was bad. The nurse practitioner was nice and looked in my ear quickly and asked if I was sick recently. I said yes and she said oh thats what it is. She continues: I was like you last night, I was sick too and feeling stuffy. Then I go, well my ear hurts though I know I had a cold but its my ear that hurts. She replies, oh yes I saw and its a little red, has a little liquid but its because you are sick. She moves on to send me home with prednisone, Flonase, Afrin and told me to take Tylenol and ask for sudefed at the pharmacy. I was there a total of 20 minutes! As I am leaving I told her I was a little glad my ear was ok and I wasnt getting antibiotics since I had c-diff 4 years ago I left in pain, but I believed I had gotten all information and was well looked at. I bought what she told me but I couldnt take the prednisone until the morning as it stated that on the bottle. But I started taking Sudafed straight away. I was in sooooo much pain all afternoon and couldnt sleep. I took Tylenol and Ibuprofen but the ear pain was unbearable. I felt crazy because the Nurse Practitioner at Banner Health urgent care said it was nothing. So I felt like I was exaggerating feeling this immense pain. I kept thinking I could brave it out but ended up crying due to ear pain so I took off to Laveen Honor Health Hospital at 4 am on 03/31/24. When I was seen I explained my ear pain but that I had visited this urgent care the day before and they said I had nothing in my ear so I didnt know why I was in so much pain. The doctor said ok well lets take a look. The first thing out of his mouth was Oh My God! You have a raging ear infection and your ear is full of pus!! I started bawling mostly because it hurt but also because I finally knew that I wasnt crazy and my pain was valid. He said he didnt know how they missed it at banner urgent care and he was going to start me on a course of antibiotics. They also gave me a strong narcotic for the pain. Then, 45 minutes later my ear burst and pus has been flowing out of it ever since. I cannot believe Banner Urgent Care! They dont care at all, they would rather have someone take off then actually give them the right information by taking time to actually diagnose them properly. I was so mad and hurt and I would not like for them to do this to other people worst to kids! Sure maybe I was the one off but man they did not believe my pain from the get go and a nurse that was also sick was examining me. I should have said something then when I heard her stuffy as well but I go to doctors because I trust them. However I will not be going back here and urge people to advocate and if they go here and push for correct diagnoses I mean an ear infection can be diagnosed at an urgent care. I didnt need to go to the hospital and now I paid for the urgent care the medicine at the urgent care and will get a hospital bill later as well as I paid for the antibiotics. So much money and I feel that banner health cheated me the first time around and I would have been fine if they had just taken the time to listen and examine properly.
