My Place Hotel-Avondale, AZ

I had ordered Uber eats for the Easter holiday, and after it was delivered, someone else staying at the hotel had stolen it, the hotel did nothing about it :) Rooms: Nice, but small Safety: I had food delivery outside my door for 5 minutes, by the time I got to the door, it was stolen Food & drinks: Wouldnt know, it was stolen from infront of my room

Had plenty of parking, our room was on the 2nd floor had no problem with waiting for the elevator. Our stay was to visit with sister, brother-in-law, and for Cincinnati Red's spring training. Both locations were close to My Place. Rooms: Rooms were nice, clean and beds were very comfortable

Very nice service, which I pay special attention to, everyone is willing to help in any situation, the rooms are clean, cleaned quite often by very nice staff, washing machines and drying rooms are a great help. I recommend it in general. Rooms: The rooms are clean and tidy, often cleaned by very nice staff. The room has a microwave, comfortable beds, a bathroom (very clean), a kitchenette, a fridge, a TV. Nearby activities: Mountains, city Safety: The hotel closes after 10 p.m., no one can enter without an access card

The good stuff: - The location is great since it is close to everything. We stayed as a family with 2 small children so it was convenient. There were plenty of parking spots available, so that was also great. - The room had a pleasant smell when we first walked in which was nice - There is a full sized fridge. The not so good stuff: - There were flies in our room, not sure how they got into the 2nd floor, but my husband had to try to kill them as they buzzed through the night. - Our "clean" sheets had a piece of hair and animal dander underneath so we know it's not ours. - There was a lot of hard water stains on the shower head and faucet. - Our room was not serviced at all and we had to go down to get fresh towels. - We were excited about having a kitchenette until we realized all that was available was a tiny chopping board. There was not a single pan or utensil available to use it, so it was quite pointless to have.
