        Dr. Saraceni and Joe and Sandy and all the crew are the best. I always feel like these people care about me and my treatment(s). Ive only had cancer once, but if I get it again this will be the only place Id consider to go for treatment!

        Dr. Joseph DiComo performed my lumpectomy and lymph node dissection 2/2024. From diagnosis through surgery, Dr. DiComo and his team have been wonderful and thoroughly explained all the options. Post surgery, I had minimal pain and they informed me of what to expect every step of the way. I highly recommend Dr. DiComo. He is a trusted and skilled surgeon and the best to have in your corner through this journey.

        We waited over a week to get biopsy results once they had been delivered by fax. I was told to be patient, everybody is very busy. After four consecutive days of phone calls I was told that my oncologist was on vacation. Apparently the world stops for those patients while the doctor is on vacation.I was finally able to speak to the office manager on the fifth day (exactly one week after my biopsy results were available), who would have the covering doctor call me back. The office manager called back with results and offered an appointment with one of their breast surgeons in another two weeks. By that time I had already contacted the initial radiologist who had done the biopsy, was given a nurse navigator, and an appointment with a different breast surgeon for the following day. I had been a patient at Ironwood for five years, but apparently not considered important enough to be given proper attention. Be careful.very careful.

        Worse communication ever. Waiting for test results for my father. Left several messages with no return call ever. This is possibly the worst time in someones life after being diagnosed with cancer and they are making the anxiety worse. If you dont have the results at least call and give that update. We will be looking for a new doctor tomorrow. Stay away if you want compassionate care!!!!!
